Well the worldstone can reform but requires a massive sacrifice to do so. And that power isnt possible to behold so basically there will no longer be a world stone chamber.

The warrior that had such power to defeat Diablo has toplled our worlds security, we loath him and despise his presence. He does not know what danger he brought unto us by destroying the World Stone Keep! This man belongs with Diablo in his hell to burn forever in ultimate pain. With no one at his backside and Diablo's followers and worshipers crawling up, how long will this hero last? We will not help him, nor save him from his death, infact we intend to kill him for what he wrought. Deckard Cain is dead and his secrets along with him, the world is still stained by the recent menecing of Diablo, yet we will survive, but the almighty hero will fall not Diablo..... he will fall to holy ones.

Humanity for sure will now be doomed, not only do they shun me, but the angels seek me for their own reasons. Even now the worshipers of Diablo grow again like weeds, it sickens me! I must venture into Hell itself and go through the 7 cities of hell and reach Diablo. If prophecies are true, the Cain is right and I must kill him on the 13th hour. Truly this will be my real test as a warrior, no one will help me this time I must prevail or humans must fall.
I dont know if this goes along with the diablo 2 storyline. My friend just gave me a vauge explaination so I based it off of that. Sorry if its completely off.
