So... that video is about 2 seconds of message and 5min of music?
In the end these people are just going to make a lot of people's good simple lives a little more difficult because they can't find a better way to do things... That being said If you believe something your actions should reflect it and I'm wondering what their actions are trying to convey about what they believe.
Their is a time for everything. A time for war and a time for peace. A time for joy and a time for sorrow......
The trick is knowing what time it is.
I believe it is time for war. Fuck america at this point. the more I try to reason with myself that america is run by the people I find it harder because well we don't. We are run by businessmen and corporations. Without them our gov't fails hard. Oh we can't tax those who make billions of dollars of us because there's so many loopholes and well obviously it would be wrong for us to tax them. I hope we all fail so that they realize they then rule nothing because no one will be here to rule.If Americas decided to get off their fat lazy asses and do something like revolt then maybe I could see this country going somewhere but basically after WWII our country just went down the shitter and hasn't come out since.

Not surprised, disapointed myself. Anonymous just went down the toilet, as far as I'm concerned. You can't even get me to take them seriously, even less the government.
People need to rally under a much bigger banner than the "Anonymous kids on youtube". No offense. I'd rather just help people around me and do what I know can make a difference, than go to an Anonymous protest.
And to Ent1ty, I have one thing to say: Only a fool wishes for war, but only a fool doesn't expect it. We all know there will be a world war eventually, its coming, sooner or later, and we all know the US will be in the center of it all.
Or we'll just all become slaves. But I'd think some inspiring folks would rise up before that happens. Right? I would urge people to try and do just that. Inspire people. Make them understand. And look for the real opportunities. This was obviously not it. People need to be aware, and at least, Anonymous helps in that regards. That state of mind will grow, thanks to everyone who keeps passing the torch, and eventually it'll clash, in some form or another.

Thats how I see it.
I agree I'm not wishing for war but it's inevitable. If we want to run our country we have to take it back. The government responds to protests by shutting them down and infringing on our rights. If they are dead then they can't do that. this is how I see it. I hate violence and avoid it but sometimes I feel it is necessary to help. It moves things. I don't think we should incite it though but rather push them to incite it on us then more people will side with us seeing how careless about our country and us they are. I don't knwo how to articulate my thoughts right now, as I don't want to falsely make the government look bad. But like I want for us to keep up the protests and they'll eventually get mad and incite violence against us and show how they really feel. If that makes sense at all.

All you need to do is convince someone with Rupert Murdoch's clout to promote the ideas of trasparent government and human rights rather than no government and christian right.
Well, the first step to retracting the soft-money tentacles is and has always been term limits. Ending the dynastic political career as a form of making a living should be first up, before we even approach the infinitely more difficut and dangerous task of approaching the corporations themselves. Once you have politicians who can serve no more than say, a president, you've killed a great impetus toward growing a corrupt position as corporate government stooge.

Theres a problem with this though. You might get a really good senator who actually helps alot, who then is forced to resign after just four years, and then someone shitty comes in and undoes everything the good senator worked hard for. Thats the only caveat I think, but other than that I agree we have to get these asshat politicians out and get some real people in there so they can work for us and help us out.

That's a small price to pay for ensuring the other 99% of senators don't take up space and suckle at the special interest teat for the duration of their natural lives.
I would hate to loose some of the few good Senators and Representatives that we do have, but if it comes down to getting rid of one good guy and keeping ten bad guys, lets get rid of all of 'em.
The first step has never changed though. Make the government afraid of it's people.
Link, I'm seriously not trying to be a dick, but I'm at a loss as to how yelling in the street is going to help? I understand the thought is that it will make people change their ways.. but really, do even YOU believe that?

It won't, this protest will go down like Chanology. I admire their dedication, but youth these days do not know how to follow through and elect the wrong people to speak for their cause. I honestly can't see this lasting more than a week, these kids will miss their beds too much.

EDIT: I hes bed gammar.
Your generalization, however founded, offends me. As a youth in NYC I believe there are youth who actually do care. As small of a minority we may be we are here. Not to mention the fact that this shouldn't just be "youth" this should be everyone. It's not like we are the only ones affected here. Yeah we might get hit the hardest later on but this is affecting you me and the rest of America right now. however you're feeling it, you are feeling it. So to people saying "oh the youth are not like how they used to be. they can't do it" Well then stop complaining and do something about it the way you used to do it. How about you get up and show us how it's done so we can follow. I believe in our youth and our countries citizens. It should be all of us standing outside over there to protest. We all should be condemning the way our government is run. But if only a handful of people out of our whole population do it then it is for naught and it isn't a fail based on our wants but a fail on your part for being too lazy to do anything.

I meant to say that I am disappointed.
Very bad typo...

Beat me to it.
