What sends shivers down your spine just thinking about it?
The idea of someone slashing my achilles tendon as I get out of my car.
Open windows at night.
Standing in murky water.
Mirrors not working right. Like the wrong arm will move or my reflection smiles at me.
Darkness. Not so much anymore, but I used to get this unexplainable feeling of dread walking through darkness. It was never that bad, but I definitely quickened my pace. Walking into a lit room from the darkness always felt as if I had escaped something.
My mind in general scares me. If I try to (and I do on purpose sometimes) I can really scare the hell out of myself with my imagination.
Also, as a rule of thumb for me, all old abandoned buildings are haunted.

I agree to all of those, and I'd add the following:
Losing my mind.
Losing my mind and not realizing it.
Being unable to control my body (but still mentally control my mind.)
Cracked-open closet doors.
Eerie sounds during the night that don't fit the atmosphere.
Thinking that a nuclear bomb just hit somewhere near you and not knowing what to do about it (I live next to a quarry and some blasts are louder than others, lol.)
Dying anytime soon.
Not having a good enough system to run Diablo III :(.
Spiders!!
Limitations getting put on any of our freedoms in America.
Becoming ruled by Communism.
My computer getting busted-up for good.
Anyone in my family dying.
My hamster dying.
Messing up in a piano recital.
Having a messed-up JavaScript that only has one error and being unable to find it.
Getting banned from this site (permanent or otherwise.)
THANK GOD!
Finally.. someone made a thread that wasnt in Diablo 3 chat!
Magistrate basically summed up all of my fears
Except I have a dog and not a hamster. I dont play the piano. I dont live in the US or fear Communism and I dont program Javascript. All the rest im shit-scared of
Lawn-mowers now actually, I had an unfortunate accident where I missed having my foot completely severed by like three inches.. *shudder*
Being in a huge house all by myself.
People that have a natural unpleasant odor.. lol

Just thought of another one. CENTIPEDES. The big bastards with hundreds of spindlies and fangs that WILL KILL YOUR FAMILY. The ones that skirt along the floor lightning fast and only seem to come out at night. Tiny little demon-spawns, them. Ahhh..anyone else get those?

Yeah! Those things are terrible... We actually had a problem with them coming into the house a couple of years ago.. had to call an exterminator.

spiders and other nasty bugs...the only ones i can like are ladybugs and rolypolys...
I hate spiders, and centipedes have been known to petrify me. On a slightly unrelated note, rolypolys are actually not a bug at all, but rather a terrestrial crustacean like crabs and lobsters.
I'm personally very afraid of alien abduction, I'm prone to sleep paralysis and that never helps.

Breaking any major bone like your femur.
Loosing eyesight, hearing, any sense
Slashing your Achilles tendon i'm sure is not fun.
Whenever I walk through a dark room my mind plays tricks on me.
I had a centipede crawl into my sandal last week. I was just sitting at my computer and my foot felt like is was falling asleep or something and I looked down and saw a centipede crawling between my toes. I freaked out and kicked my sandal off causing it to fly off and break a window. lol Anyway, my worst fear is getting an incurable disease like HIV or something. Or any STD. Or having my nuts ripped off by a gorilla... ouch >_<

Remember the String of Ears
"to the worm in horseradish, the world is horseradish."
Heights is a big one for me. When I was a kid, I used to have to stand in the loft on the second story of our barn to help with hay, and I would freak out every time. It wasn't that high, really, but looking down when I'm far off the ground terrifies me.
I also dislike needles, spiders, and the thought of dying (I know it'll come eventually, but thinking about it creeps me the hell out).
