RoS Won't Support Controllers on PC
With the high expectations coming towards Reaper of Souls there are a few request-like questions that appear on the official forums. One such is the idea of console controller support for the PC version. Spoiler alert: Not happening.
Whether you use a traditional control-scheme, similar to what you did for the console-versions (none of the other bells and whistles, mind you, JUST movement and combat controls), or even if you're willing to consider support the new, admittedly bizarre Steam Controller, I think it's safe to say that there is really no good reason not to allow it.
Again, it's not as though the entire game needs to function with a controller, merely character-movement and abilities, and a button to pick up nearby items.
Otherwise, everything else about this expansion looks amazing!
We're glad you're excited about Reaper of Souls!
We'll have a lot more information about it in the coming months, but at this time we don't have any plans for supporting analog controller hookup for the PC version of Diablo III. Similarly, since the console version of Diablo III was designed from the ground up with a controller in mind, the PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 version of Diablo III do not support USB mice or keyboards.
Interview With a Barbarian Cosplayer
You can take your hobby to a whole new hight if you have the right amount of passion, time and patience. This is evident from the amazingly detailed and realistic costume of Lily Spitfyre - a barbarian cosplayer that won an award for her hard work at Fan Expo Masquerade. Gamefront made an interview with her and put her in their spotlights. Check out a short excerpt from the article here, but make sure to read the whole article itself as well.
DiabloFans Quote:
Lily’s barbaric oeuvre took eight months to complete — from September until August, with a few months off in between when setbacks prevented her from working on the costume. Toward the end, she was working on it for four to five hours a day. “There’s a lot of last-minute stuff [that goes into costume-making],” she said.
“The week before [Toronto's Fan Expo] was super crunch time. The day that I was leaving to go to the convention, I woke up at 6 am, painted the last leg bracer, stuck it under a fan, went outside, painted the axe, came inside, stuck them both under a fan, packed everything else, and then wrapped them in plastic bags just in case the paint wasn’t dry, and put them in the suitcase, hopped on the bus and went to Toronto.”
Jaetch's Ninja Wizard: Take 2
Wizard master and guide creator Jaetch has released a second take on his Ninja Wizard build. This time it goes all the way to MP10! Surprisingly resilient, the Ninja Wiz plays very differently than the other class builds. It takes a good amount of damage and uses dodge as one of its important stats. It also relies quite heavily on maneuverability. Check out the build, the gear and the video below for the glorious Ninja Wiz in action!
Awesome cosplay and ninjawiz looks like tons of fun!

Is it wrong of me to want to know the full dimensions of that particular cosplayer? ;-) The female Barbarian seems pretty big, I'd like to know how that lady matches that, mainly in height and weight. I can agree somewhat with Elendiro, though, would've been nice to include some item or another that's famous from D3 as a kind of identifying marker, though. Like, how hard would it have been to have a Skorn replica made? That would've been sweet held over her head!
In regard to Jaetch's Ninja Wizard...with all due respect, because Jaetch has done some great things with Wizards...I feel like that's a prime example of why the Auction House needs to go. Without an Auction House, a player will get into a game and see someone with an awesome build, and go, "dude! That's pretty amazing, how long did it take you to put that together? What do you emphasize on your gear? What skills are you putting together, and what's your battle strategy?" But with the AH in place, a person can copy that with fairly little trouble. Even the Marquises in his gear are not that hard to come by with trips to the AH.
Again, not trying to cut Jaetch down or even the build, I took a peek, it seems like an amazing amount of fun...those particular Wizard hats with the mouth covered really seem made for it. I guess I'll just be happy when the AH goes, that's all, :-)

You're totally right about the AH. The build is virtually impossible without access to different gear choices on the AH (hell, instead of stacking just primary, vit, AR/armor, trifecta, I have to also factor in gear aesthetics and dexterity?), just like 0-Dogs WD, SNS wizards, legacy Nat DHs, etc. But this all stems from the poor loot that drops in game. As long as the drops are quality and useable more often than not, then there's no need for the AH.
I'm all for AH removal. Just as long as itemization and the quality of drops are fixed.
I played D3 on the xbox and it does control much better than the PC. It just feels natural and my hands don't get fatigued like they do using the mouse.
Still, I can't see myself spending an extra $60 to play more or less the exact same game.

GJ Jaetch as always.
If anybody wants to play with a controller then he/she should play on the console version...
