Seeing as we don't really know how either Belial or Azmodan looks, it could be a hint towards it.

It has been said... that in the end of all things... we would find a new beginning. But as the shadow once again crawls across our world... and the stench of terror drifts on a bitter wind... the people pray for strength and guidance. They should pray for the mercy of a swift death... for I've seen what the darkness hides!
... I don't think it's safe here.
Hoping for Pink Chain Lightning in D3!

Well that is the same angel that is near the mana orb on the gameplay footage. And from the past it always seemed to represent evil/good I think. Though I dont paticularly think Tyrael will become evil, I do think it might be some sort of fallen angel. And I honestly think hands down we will see Diablo in this game

-My Position on Black Metal: "So you know those annoying kids you see running around listening to crap radio rock bands wearing tripp jeans and shopping at hot topic? Well, Black Metal is just the next big thing... have fun with your trends, I'm gonna stay metal"
The dude in the middle doesn't look like a demon, other than the horns obviously. His facial features are very human. Maybe it represents the angels(right), demons(left) and mankind caught in the middle which seems to be the basis for the plot.
It's Blizzard so I'm expecting ONE main character to turn evil; might aswell be Tyrael. If they do do that I'll laugh because it would be so predictable, and I wouldn't feel surprised at all (Like I was when I saw Diablo III announced. :(:(:()
That might not be Tyrael; It could be Inarius, or Izual, or any other fallen angel that I can't think of that the moment. But, since Tyrael is a main character, and this is a Blizzard game, it could very possibly be Tyrael

1) Izual is already evil- he corrupted the soulstones for the Prime Evils.
2) Inarius is basically already evil, since he wants to kill the humans (he's the one that tainted the Worldstone so that humans would fall from being Nephalem to regular mortals.)

i dont see it. they both resemble demons, and if the middle one wasn't a demon, i don't understand how adding horns would help convey the picture of him being a human caught in the middle. It seems much more likely that they are the 2 other lesser evils and that it is Tyrael at right.

Why can't a heterosexual guy tell a heterosexual guy that he thinks his booty is fly?

???? I never said they weren't already evil; in fact, I said exactly what you said. I think you misread my post, or thought I was referring to it to a different argument.
Actualy..to me it looks like "The world of Sanctuary"....arrmm..let me explain..
On the left side of the ring...Demons!!!
In the center of the ring..Goatmen!! (Representing the corrupt creatures of Sanctuary)
And in the right corner...Angels!!!
*and the crowds gows wild and starts tossing rotten fruits and vegetables*
And they will all be out to get us!!
Ehhh dunno about the goatmen, weren't the goatmen a type of demons also?

goatmen as in the Khazra? and if so no, they were previously humans of a clan or clans living in the dense jungles, (sorry cant remember anythign right now)

I just rewatched the gameplay video and I realized that the demon on the left holds the health and the angel on the right holds the mana. I doubt they are even characters in the game because in previous games the demons/angels holding the orbs were arbitrary.

Possibly but it's odd there is 3 of them to me. The angel looks an awful lot like Tyrael.
Okay, I'm wondering this, but judging from what's been currently stated, you guys think that the angel must be fallen because it's grouped with two "demons". Kind of flawed logic.

i captured this off the "World" section of the website...
Could this possibly be the new Triumverate of evil? ...Belial...Azmodan...Tyrael?

Whoops I thought I had just found this.
Here is my screen shot of it!
I was wondering the same thing, it's obviously a angel and two demons.

Kind of makes sense, but why horns then?
1) Izual is already evil- he corrupted the soulstones for the Prime Evils.

The Triumvirate of evil are the prime evils

Ah, I always assumed they were demons.
