Shortly upon arriving, the Horde met the tuskarr, a walrus-like race of nomadic fishermen. The two groups have since formed a bond, and the Horde has sworn to aid their new allies in any way possible.
Tuskarr would be a fun race to play as, and there wouldn't be very many technicalities about them. They could be warrior, hunter, priest, mage, and shaman.(They could also be Druids but I don't think Blizz would add another Druid class.
Also, Pandaren are in the game in a few places. Technically they are nuetral(but so are half of the already playable races) but they were the most wanted race for the Burning Crusade instead of Draenei. These could be warrior, hunter, rogue, mage, priest, and probably even shaman.
I doubt very seriously that Blizz will add any more races, but at the same time I think these two races would be fun additions to the World of Warcraft. I know I would definitely play as a Tuskarr. What are your thoughts?
They work for Illidan, just like the Blood Elves and the REAL Draenei. I always said they should have added a new faction under Illidan's command instead of adding the races to Alliance and Horde.
I read up a little on both races and disovered it wouldbe relatively easy to add both races to the game without any complications of territory.
Pandaren are from and island called Pandaria. This island lies west of Kalimdoor, close to the StoneTalon Mountains. They can add this island and set it up like they did the Blood Elves. Two areas, one for lvls 1-10 and then another area to get to about level 18 or so before moving on into the rest of the world. Like they did with Draenei, they could just set it up so they go to Darkshore along with the Nigh Elves.
The Tuskarr can be given their own isolated place in northrend. After getting to a certain level they can be sent to another place like they did in the Burning Crusade with both races, as I already stated. Most level 10-20 horde characters go to the Barrens anyways.
I'd love to see the Pandaren Empire. Withis war dancers, Shodo-pans (Chieftains), geomancers and they have a pretty interesting backstory.
But the Tuskarr? They are just random creeps. I'd rather see the Nerubians, the Spider beings, like the Crypt Things and Crypt Lords, they have a vast network of underground cities and tunnel underneath both Northrend and Icecrown.
But Naga deserve a bit more development too.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Nerubians and Naga have too many complications. One has 6 legs the other has no legs. Plus Nerubians kind of intertwine with the Undead. They both have several appearances as monsters in the game.
However, if you look at the first link you can see they changed it so that Horde and Tuskarr become allies when the Horde lands on Northrend. Why would they make them allies for no reason? Unless they just got bored and wanted to design a new type of camp for the Horde to chill at.
Graphics play a huge part yes, lots of legs and details for the Nerubians.
but I just find them to be more interesting/fascinating/intriguing whatever you word you want to use.
They are kind of like Driders from DnD, and you could be one of those in IWDII.

I'm very sorry for double posting but I think this should be allowed to bump.
Take a look:
The first image is a screenshot of the current Azeroth map. The second is an image I saw at Ign.com. Again, I know this is me just being optimistic but notice there are two islands off the coast of Stranglethorn Vale that currently aren't there. This isn't anywhere close to where Pandaren or Tuskarr are supposed to reside, but it could still mean something.
Isn't one of them the Tomb of Sargeras. His tomb is in that general area.

See that's the problem. YOU want to play as the Tuskarr, but I don't know how many others. I for one know I sure don't want to play as big pink ugly walrus-men

I'm thinking, whatever happened to naga?
As has been said, it's way too much work involved to make them playable, plus their backstory really doesn't fit well with either the Alliance or the Horde.
They would be the only amphibian race, which would be unique, and you can't really have fish-men without giving them the ability to breathe underwater. Especially not considering that their capitol lies underneath the Maelstrom.
Secondly, no legs means that all armor in the entire game has to be refitted to look good on a serpentine body. And Blizzard just ain't going to do that.
Third, they are just like Satyrs. Once Night Elves, now banished and hated for serving Sargeras. Satyrs sure as hell won't be joining the playable factions anytime soon, and neither will the Naga. Plus, by all accounts, the Naga not controlled by Illidan are under the rule of an Old God, possibly with Neptulon, one of the Old God's Lieutenants, actually down in the depths with them.

Very interesting indeed. I could, though the location might be slightly off, be one of the Southern Islands where some trolls live (can't remember the tribe name). Either way, it's probabaly a new area

Nope. Sargeras Tomb is right around the Maelstrom.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Hmm, guess they did some location changing. Here is the old map of Azeroth. How annoying, more WOW contradicting the WC series.

Just looked over my WOW maps, man things have changed.
Oh and for reference, managed to dig up a WCI map. Heck even the WCII map differs from this one. Look at where Stormwind and Blackrock line up. Can't blizzard kept to old maps?

Well except for Blackrock Spire it's pretty good. And I had no idea the Deadmines, Redridge and Stonard existed even back then. That's pretty interesting.

Deadmines, and Stonard (coupled with Rockard) were stages in the WCI game.
Orc campaign you had to go in the mines and kill Griselda and Tulok's band of rebellions orges, and in the human campaign you went in there to rescue Lothar, some footmen and a handful of beaten up priests.
Destroying Rockard and Stonard was a Human camapign mission, the orc equivalent was to level Goldshire and Moonbrook, bemore moving on to Stormwind Keep itself.
