they didnt change the continuity, that is covered by Athas the Lich King, they just changed the fact that Humans, Orcs, Night Elves had a alliance at the end of WCIII, they all united to fight the Burning Legions/Scourge.
WCIII: TFT, had the orcs off in there own little camp, Humans were off doing stuff in the Outlands of Darenor, Night Elves were doing stuff in the tomb of Sargeras/hanging out with the Nagas, Undead were pretty much doing what they did in WCIII: ROC and heading north to Northrend and Icecrown, to find Ner'Zhul (The Lich King), so Arthas could get some of if not all his deminished powers back.
But when WOW came along, Humans and Orcs pretty much went back to how they were before the end of WCIII: ROC, constantly fighting and bickering, plus they got some allies to help them.
and some of them dont really make sense, they seem to be done out of conveniance, Undead part of the Horde? uh even if they are how they are described, part of the Undead lead by Sylvannas Windrunner, the Dark Ranger, i still dont think they would join the Horde, they should be more of a seperate faction, but thats not how MMOs work, least not to my understanding of them, they are about huge fights between two sides, most commonly some variation of Good vs. Evil.
This kinda bugs me, there are lotss of races in WC, and they go and try and fit them into two groups, Id rather not have sides rather lots of smaller factions that can be either ally or foe, thats how the lore speaks of most of the races present in WC, some have solid friendships while others are rocky at best.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Maybe if it was online then morrowind would be worth more than 10 dollars (NZD) down at the warehouse
but... considering its only single player... its good
Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Morrowind should be mmo's.. or online at least
Nah it shouldn't be MMO, but LAN :D, playing with 1-4 friends. You should get a few teamup quests and some teamup dungeons with bosses!
yep, keep the SP (its awesome) and just add multiplayer.

i think that might be becuase in new zealand its a realiatively unknown game, and not many people play or have heard of it, hence its so cheap, plus its kinda old now.
Is diablo still $10? it was the last time i checked, lol the strategy guide for diablo is $19.99, its more expensive than the game. (but i havent seen one in ages)

Yeah, I agree with you. I think you'd have to change some fundamental aspects of Morrowind in order to make it a good online game. I would like in the future though if they made an Elder Scrolls MMO. One thing they would definitely have to change though is the leveling up system. It's kind of crap as it is.
If you look at the screenshots though, a lot of it looks really corny. But I thought maybe despite that, that some of it would be intentional and the game would maybe be kinda quirky in a fun way.
I agree. It's as lame as this picture. Look at how the Barbarian has his ass totally kicked while these douchy Warcraft characters barge in all ready to fight. Hella lame. It's even insulting.
Merging Blizzard's universes does indeed sound like a horrible, horrible idea. It's just soo wrong.
I wouldn't mind a Diablo or Starcraft MMO though. As long as they preserve the feel of the universes and the original games.
An Elder Scrolls MMO would be awesome. I love the detail in those games. It would be a challenge to keep the game just the way the fans
like them, even in MMO form.
And to anyone who has yet to hear the news: Bethesda has announced their interest in making an MMO based on the Elder Scrolls universe. We can't expect it anytime soon though, so no need to get worked up about it yet. We have to wait for at least Fallout 3 first =) (It looks amazing!)

"So I like climb out the window and I fall because we’re on the third floor , but it’s cool, because I land where my arm used to be, but it’s not there so it doesn’t hurt. And I’m thinking, yeah, man, this no arm thing is kinda chill."
I think the approach Bethesda chose with Fallout looks good. The company making the game has changed so there would be no point in making it the same way, but they still keep some of the elements from the original games. Time will tell, but I like it.
And yes, it's very likely that they will screw up the TES MMO. But if they do somehow manage to make it just right, it will be incredible. The concept would definitely have to be different than any current MMO's though.
I have a habit of staying optimistic =)

No, actually, there is simply no point to making a Fallout, because they cannot make a Fallout, nor will they make a Fallout, so why not they pick a new name? Why bother with the old brand? Advertisement, nothing else. But is it Fallout? No. Not at all.

Well, if AO developers won't screw theirs game it will be incredible too... but it doesn't make sense not to screw up a game, you know?
Equinox, stop being so god damn negative and cynical. It's annoying.
You say Fallout 3 sucks, yet, you've never played it, watched a video of it being played or even done anything beyond looking at a picture. Seriously, it's lame.

Siaynoq's Playthroughs
I have to agree I tried it and I coulnd belive how bad it was very very disapointing it looked like it was gona be a hit too
It's horribly slow, completely unbalanced when you first join online, and it seems like a simple and crappy addon. Nothing more.
Siaynoq's Playthroughs
I didn't read into it much, so I didn't know what to expect. Something better at least...
Siaynoq's Playthroughs
'Nuff said.

sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."

Diablo's gonna drop the barb, forget about him, slaughter the WC people, then the barb is gonna come up behind him and chop his head open.
Yup.

TES MMO will screw up the whole idea of TES, MMO's are screwed up. It will become very limited if they will go online.
To Sianoq
That is still a much better concept of Diablo than anything seen on this entire forum...

Do not restate what I have said. I said it will not be Fallout. That is what I said. I didn't said anything about F3 in particular.
OK, that's not true. We have been informed that it is FIRST PERSON REAL TIME. That's not Fallout. Never can be.
