Not atm....but i really hope there will be som difference bc its kind of lame how it works atm example is farm bags in normal and open them in torment 6.
People keep saying this, but is it confirmed to actually work? There was a big debate about it in the chat on Kongor's stream a week or two ago when he farmed about 30 bags in normal, opened them all in torment 6, and got zero legendaries.
@Opening bags on T6: I opened about 50 bags on Torment 6 (before Christmas break, can't play for a couple of days) and got zero legendaries as well. Not sure if opening on T6 works. Definitely not a huge difference, I personally think it's just RNG. Would be interested if someone has done large-scale testing. Would also be interesting where these bags were acquired; my bags were mainly from T1, as I find running on Normal to be extremely boring and tiresome (but yeah, more efficient... *yawn*)

From what I understand, opening bags on T6 does at least affect gem drops, not sure about legendaries. It's entirely possible that the people holding to this belief are doing so only because of anecdotal evidence from streamers/personal experience, or because of the difference in gem drops from the bags. It's very hard to tell. With all the chatter about it, I'm pretty sure Blizz knows about it by now, and I look for a fix to go into place on it sometime soon, if that's indeed how it works.
Basically, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Blizz is apt to nerf the widely publicized "exploits", or whatever you want to call them, such as this one.
Moldran farmed 80 bags on normal and opened on T6. I think he got 20+ Legendarys including plans, but like 4 of them were items. But I'm not on beta to test this. Also I hope they're gonna change how looting is in this game drastically or its gonna fail big time, even more then original Diablo 3. I can see my self farming 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, 4 weeks a month 12 months a year for 5 years to get what I want. That sounds like a more grind then it already is in Diablo 3, cause at. Also since everything is BoA I'm gonna have to farm it on all my chars I wanna play, and I wanna play them all eventually.

You can share drops between characters on the same account - items are BoA, where the A stands for account. It's true that the smart drop system makes it harder to farm for another class, but you can share items between characters, and it wasn't clear from your post if you know this.
In vanilla rare unid items didn't roll according to the MF you had atm of identifying them, they rolled according to how much was your MF at picking them. So you couldn't get a 6 affix items when they dropped on 0 MF, because you identified them with 300. I think same logic applies for bags.
Is there a difference in drop rate between normal, expert, and master? I know gold is different, but are rare/leg/set items affected?
