Its currently pretty hard to do anything but quickly copy character and resume game, before getting disconnected in menu. But since default is Monster Power 0, i could test exactly what i wanted. My barb was also saved in act 3 so its perfect. As most assumed, Monster power level has nothing to do with loot power. Monster level do. So in act 3 with 0 power level one of my first lvl 58 drop is a crossbow, 737 dps. Stats: 122 dex, 230 vit, 87 int, 5% ias, 2.7% LL, 262-280 min/max damage bonus. Im not certain but this looks like LVL 63 rolls to me, what says you experts?
Well, is it 1H or 2H? Cause 1H, that is pretty nice. 2H, not so much. (though, since ilevel 58 would be a level 57 weapon, that could be nice for that level as a 2H with no level reduction bonus)
Its a 2 hander, im really only looking at the stats rolls here. The dps cant get high because the base damage is pretty low itself. But i never saw such many and high stats on a piece that low level before. Which is why i am asking.
Just found a ilvl 61 monk helm with crazy stats and 71 all resist, i believe this is also a 63 affix. Id like some more knowledgable player to give some inputs!
I can understand the changes this would have on weapons (balance wise I mean) but armor pieces as well? I mean lower armor is a drawback, but not nearly as detrimental as lower base damage on a weapon, doesn't this mean better loot is going to drop far more frequently?
Not sure how I feel about that... I suppose rares do need an increase, what with legendaries taking the majority of good loot these days.
