Just to let you guys know, if you pre-ordered from Gamestop and your payment info doesn't go through once, they cancel your order. Apparently when I replaced my credit card a couple months back, I forgot to update my order from them, so now it's canceled, and there's no way to re-order >< I'm on a 'list' if any become available again.
Luckily I've got an order from Amazon, and I'll be going to my local small town Fred meyers to try and buy one (lol I was told there's only going to be 18 CE there). But anyway wanted people to make sure your payment info goes through on the first try, or you're screwed =/
With Gamestop they do give you the chance to pay it all upfront once a price has been decided upon. Whenever I pre-order anything from them I always choose the pay upfront option, as well as going to the store over ordering online and having it shipped to me. When you pay upfront and at the store, the people working there usually make certain that everyone that already has their copy paid for prior to release, and not just put a pre-order deposit, gets a copy first.
Of course I'm also lucky, I have a Fry's, Gamestop and Best Buy within a few blocks of one another. When SC2 came out, I ended up buying my CE of SC2 from Best Buy, because the other two were out. The luckily part for me is that the Best Buy doesn't get a lot of traffic because of the Fry's and Gamestop. Their limited selections turn away most people, and keeps what they do have in turn in good stock.
That sucks.. I never trust game stop. I preordered mine from bestbuy and they actually took the payment but didn't charge me yet if that makes sense, like a deposit.. Credit card shows i've been charged but it never gets posted to my account.

What do you mean trust them? His payment didn't clear so they we're trying to get their money elsewhere. It's neither party's fault, Bleu42 forgot about a card switch and GameStop wants to make their money.
