i will be making a thread on release and uploading my progress of time played with screen shots. my job will obviously cut deeply into my real time progress but i still hope to have it beaten within a few weeks.
You sir have balls! I like your determination and I will be following your thread, if I have any time left from playing D3.
years of fast game reflex building and hot key face rolling will get me through it. plus i plan to do it with the Witch Doctor first so that will just make it ez mode.

"once the pretty hardcore gamers we had testing inferno found it fairly difficult, we then we doubled it" -trolololol jay wilson
So a day to complete Nightmare in a completely new game with no solid information or theorycrafting behind it is a bold claim.
a day as in 24 hours playtime. so 8 hour playtime for normal and 24 hours for nightmare. although i think i will beat nightmare faster than that but i dont want to completely shoot myself in the foot just in case ;P.
I doubt just that would cut it though. You would need to have an insane analytical mind to quickly get a firm understanding of core machinics within the game to do it as fast as possible. Just bruteforcing it would hardly work. Also, so far there is no support to the claim that WD would be the "ez-mode" class. We know nothing yet about class balance and how the classes pan out in form of difficulty.
we know the WD has the most CC abilities in the game and is a pet based class, theoretically making him the easiest to tackle any situation because of his vast range of abilities. thats why im using him so when i hit a "wall" in part of hell/inferno i can completely switch up my build/add more CC to get through it.
I can't help but wonder if you're basing your skill with Diablo 2 on how you play it now as opposed to how you played it 10 years ago when it was first released? You can learn a lot about a game and the best/quickest/easiest way to do it in a matter of months, yet there are a lot of things that you're bound to do wrong when it's a new game. Trial and error take time, and that's going to eat into your deadline.
basing it on many years ago playing solo, not online.
Hopefully you'll also add some helpful tips for everyone on how you're shooting through it so fast and how others can improve rather than just gloating and mocking.
oh of course, i talk a big game but once i start rolling i love to help people a lot. back when i played Rift i made a youtube channel full of tutorial videos for new people on macros and basic builds to level/dungeon crawl and got a ton of good feedback and thanks. but the gloating and mocking of course will still be there just to say "HA!"
no i mean 2 weeks in real life, on the assumption i will be trying to play at least 8 hours a day 7 days a week. and then most likely ~14 hours a day on weekends. my job will probably ruin that deadline, hopefully i can get some time off

I think you will need more time to finish infernal.
Right now we do not have the stats on legendary gear and also do not know all the attributes that can show up on rare/magic. We also do not have the full information on gems.
Playing Solo will mean doing quite a bit of farming and I think you would need to start in Normal (at least for gold). I see D3 to be more of a farm fest than D2. At least it is not the boring boss runs.
For the first playthrough you might want to build a character that has a lot of defensive/supportive skills.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.

Like many other cases, Wished makes claims with absolutely no proof and holds them to be fact. In this case, WD is ez-mode simply because he has minions (He thinks they'll be able to tank for him in Inferno). Oh right, and lots of CC that doesn't really work in Inferno.
The concept of a gear check doesn't seem to make sense to him. Sadly, skill only can take you so far, and without hours of item hunting the final acts of Inferno simply won't be possible (If you believe Blizzard, which I do).
Obviously I don't expect him to meet his deadline. What I DO expect is him to use his work as an excuse for why he was unable to do so, when in fact the truth will be that he simply set completely unrealistic goals.

This, it's gonna take a long time to get the gear either way. ESPECIALLY playing solo. Me and my friends are feeding each other gear and we still expect it to take months.

I think the part people don't really understand is that Blizzard doesn't expect the majority of players who buy the game to even reach Inferno. As a result they can make it really, really insanely hard.
I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it's actually impossible to beat Inferno without a near fully geared character. People can laugh at the fact that no one on the testing team has been able to beat Inferno and say they have no skill. Just remember that they're being PAID to play the game and have been doing so for far, far longer than any of us and actually have an understanding of how the game works past the tutorial.
In short, beating Inferno in 2 weeks will only be done through exploits.
Hehe, it has been awhile super busy at work, but nah you go ahead and beat it with your bad self. For me I'm just hoping to get Hardcore mode done within the first two weeks. I'm blessed with my office closing for a week after the game releases.

yes arcane because they are going to make an entire classes main skills and purpose completely useless in the hardest difficulty. they have said CC will be less effective in harder difficulties. in your mind less effective = almost useless? and ive given many many reasons why the WD is superior in like 20 threads. NO ONE has "proof" yet, but the argument for the WD will be the best theoretically, always wins. so we will see on release buddy. just a couple weeks away now so u dont have to flame forever until you find out ur wrong.

lol thats exactly why im choosing the WD.

Here's the thing: anyone who deals in absolutes at this point is either an idiot, or just trolling. So which would you prefer?
whos dealing in absolutes?
well not beta. "internal testing" and "but blizzard said......" which is always a classic and makes me lulz IRL.
Fixed for you.
Btw ppl stop feeding the troll
Furthermore thats another roof you don't have enough evidence to make those claims.
Allow me to read you your own title...
"4 weeks until I beat inferno"
Sounds pretty absolute to me. Maybe if it was "My personal goal is to beat inferno 4 weeks from now"
But no, your title is pretty absolute.
