I thought you were a gifted gamer with skills to make Blizzards dev team look like a joke? Your a trash bad, 2 classes in Act 2 Inferno? Why? Was act 3 too hard for you? Or are you just not good enough to down Bel with 5 stacks of neph? Figures, all of you "pro" gamers are the same.

Tell us again random pro gifted gamer, how is that 2 week inferno clear going? You should find another community to post in. Your a fail hard. Kind of like the movie Karate Kid, except your the kid at the cobra kai dojo.

im not going to try and craft the perfect gear for my first playthrough, or even try for high rolls. just craft a couple of each at the most, or even just one of each to get some decent gear so the first playthrough wont be impossible. ill be stacking pure damage and xp gear from normal through nightmare then switch to defensive stats from hell onward. obviously if some gear rolls all crap/useless stats id have to keep crafting.

(yea yea bla bla "omfg if u think u wont need defensive gear in nightmare your high", please... you didnt need it in D2 u wont need it in D3, overestimating hell and inferno is one thing but nightmare is just "normal mode" while normal is "easy mode")
Yeah, I don't know. I'm really hoping D3 will be more challenging than D2. The only trying moments in D2 was when you encountered an monster that's immune to your main damage source, but that was just stupid.
I also hope they make it a bit tougher than you suggested with gear and crafting. If you can breeze your way through it, then what's the point. I agree that Normal is easy and Nightmare is where the game starts, but even then I hope that Nightmare has some challenges and Hell has some very tough battles.

i think the main reason people are getting so upset with me how im "boasting" about beating the game within a couple weeks is because they think im saying i will do so easily or "breeze" through it. im expecting it to be one of the toughest games ill ever play and be playing 8-14 hours a day powering through being very careful and using all my skill so by no means will it be easy or a breeze once i hit hell.

LoL, this guy again. Random Pro Internet Gamer #34587239, please tell us again how your going to drop inferno by June 1st 12:00 am. ... Or are you going to say that was just a troll when you miss the deadline?

Nothing in this information shows that Inferno will take a long time to beat. Only that numbers will be high...
Even if it takes 5 minutes to beat SK in Inferno, 5 minutes isn't exactly a long time out of 24 hours per a day

Still going to be very surprised if no one have cleared Inferno after 2 weeks.

Exactly, there is not enough information to do any meaningful theory crafting, anyone who says otherwise, doesnt actually understand math very well.
There is plenty of information....you might be too dumb to understand it, but its most certainly there.

Well, you have everything, but you still have nothing.
We have everything we need for the most part.

You don't know about the HP of monsters
Irrelevant, that will change drastically between mob, act, and difficulty. Its not needed in any real way, unless you just want to try to figure out the most efficient way to kill certain mobs in a certain area.

    , their armor, resistance rates
    Resistance rates? Whats that, lol!
Again completely irreverent. No one is going to go around remembering the HP/Armor/Resistances of every monster they run across. Also assuming you are dealing with the same type of dmg, then the only relevant measurement is %wpn dmg anyways.

, diminishing returns on CC, their affixes/suffixes
This might indeed change the value of some skills, but it likely won't make or break most builds.
Haven't we already seen most of the champion's specials?

, you don't know the attack speed of the skills,
I would imagine this would change wildly between mobs, and it seems rather irrelevant anyways.

    you don't know item suffixes/affixes,
    Yah we do...http://www.d3inferno.com/affixes/ItemAffixes.html

so all you have to base your "theorycrafting" on is weapon damage coefficients, and all you know the weapons is their raw dps.
No, we can clearly see the attack speed and dmg range of weapons.
    We know gear affixes.
We also know the resource cost.
We also have a lot of experience in D2, and the D3 beta.
We also know some basic equations of this type of game, like dmg reduction, or attack speed.
We know what all the skills do, and we know all their %wpn dmg.
% wpn dmg is universal between all skills, thus its pretty easy to do a comparison either directly or within specific builds.

Thank you for proving my point!!!!! Half of your post if filled with 'WRONG' and the other half is a 'GUESS'. I love how you say resistances of mobs dont matter. That was pretty funny, or how you say you have seen all champion specials when blizzard has specifically said you have not even seen anything CLOSE to what these monsters are capable of.

So your saying, that since you understand how weapon damage will work, you can theroy craft around things you have never seen or heard of? LoL!!!!! Nice one, you must be a Math Major working on your PHD.

I like the part where you said you used theorycrafting and numbercrunching to come to the conclusion that the WD is the best choice.

I have to ask, which numbers?

the skill calculator numbers. herpderp. what other numbers would you use? its the perfect system to theorycraft and number crunch because EVERYTHING is based on weapon damage %.

Well, you have everything, but you still have nothing. You don't know about the HP of monsters, their armor, resistance rates, diminishing returns on CC, their affixes/suffixes, you don't know the attack speed of the skills, you don't know item suffixes/affixes, so all you have to base your "theorycrafting" on is weapon damage coefficients, and all you know the weapons is their raw dps.

    I reiterate, which numbers?

    This.

All you have done is make a couple of builds in a vacuumm.

My job is Photomanipulation and try never give due dates or even costs without looking at the pic i'll work with first. Sometime i have to do it because of customer requirements and there is always some sort of surprise and i rarely meet deadlines when that happens.

Exactly, there is not enough information to do any meaningful theory crafting, anyone who says otherwise, doesnt actually understand math very well.

it doesnt matter what it will be like. even if only .0001% of people can beat inferno. i will be in that percentage because i always strive to be the best at every game ive ever played and it comes very naturally and easily to me. people get so mad that im just saying how i will beat a game quickly, its pretty fucking sad.

Clearly, your the only one mad. Its funny actually. Screen shot your achievement by June 1st 12am, or your just random internet 'pro gamer' #127987576234.

LoL! Thats even more laughable than your claim to have inferno down in 4 weeks!
How is it laughable? It is pretty much a known fact that the best gamers arn't game testers. Really think Blizzards QA team are the best of the best? And that he can't beat the game in 336 hours? I mean really...it is that hard to see that it is possible huh?

Hes clarified in this thread that he doesnt mean "play time", he even gives a date. Go back a couple pages and check it out.

Have you played diablo 2? cus i dont think i was able to beat that without a high lvl running me through for like 2 months while haveng a fulltime job. that was before the expac cus LOD made it alot easier. so this game is proly gonna take you longer than 4 weeks considering internal testers had 3 months (aproximate) and didnt beat it.

It was a bit longer, Jay Wilson said that they once went 4 months without a char wipe in internal beta. Now we dont know if Inferno was playable at the time or what, but we do know that for 4 months, Blizzard employees did not/could not conquer inferno.
