Well I don't think i can access the console from the web interface they gave me with the server. There's something called "TShock" i think which is some sort of a Terraria console mod. If we all install it then i will be able to change the server's version to include TShock. Then you can use admin commands (more than usual) from in game by assigning admin rights to players etc...
What do you think? I can test it for you guys and if i get everything to work then i'll send you the link for download and then update the server...
SHAMELESS ROLEPLAYING PLUG, IT'S GOING DOWN.
GO BE COOL.

Lol, this one will be pretty simply. Just say what to do, and I type out something that passes as a storyline.
Quite thrilled for it TBH. Love how they're removing the auction house. Think Blizz finally realized that it killed the game for a lot of the old hardcore crowd.
Oh sheeit, Terraria looked fun as hell. If you guys ever get a minecraft server going, gimme a heads up.

Oh lawdy, minecraft and terraria players hate each other then, I assume?
I can only speak for myself. I don't hate Minecraft players (I don't hate any players, why should I hate someone just because they like a different game). I bet there are quite a few people who play both.
But I think Minecraft and Terraria are different in many ways, and I didn't really find Minecraft all that interesting. I like the 2D graphics - I often had trouble navigating in Minecraft as I'm not good in getting 3D orientation. Plus, Terraria looks like you're building your own Super Mario World, whereas Minecraft reminds me of the first steps of 3D first person shooter games in the 90s. I loved the first, was never too keen on the latter. Last but not least, afaik Minecraft is less RPG-heavy. The progression in Terraria is just insane. But I haven't seen Minecraft endgame, so can't compare that.

I guess I was just never that big in going into games and asking if anybody wanted to trade 50,000 soj for a p-torch. Nor was I a fan of going to jsp.
The Auction House facilitated all that, and in a far better, safer, easier, and less hectic manner. But it's an idea from WoW, so clearly it's evil
Any way, I assume that JSP is prepping for the influx for Diablo 3 trading, assuming they are not already ready for it.

Best I can tell, in Minecraft you go from punching trees to mining diamonds to make diamond armor and then to going to a fancy planet where you fight and kill a dragon. The end.
And with Minecraft controls, it's super fucking difficult. (You are fighting the controls more then you are fighting the dragon in the fight...)
I don't know i only played minecraft for a couple of days where i mined some caves and built a fortress... But that's where it ended for me. In Terraria, the game revolves more around loot and combat so it's a lot more action based / RPG oriented...
By the way i continued work on the platform arena thing for the wall of flesh... We should find a time where we are all online so we can farm wof or something. Still haven't seen him yet.
Oh and i found a molten fury thing (weapon, like "ball o' hurt") and i put it in the stash, might be useful for someone.
Also, yesterday while i was wandering around in the underworld, i found a lost girl that turned into a nymph when i got close to her... She attacked me and got smacked. But damn that was a bit scary lol.
Hey guys, the Humble Indie Bundle has Scribblenauts Unlimited, Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, and some other less awesome games.
The minimum to get Scribblenauts and Arkham Asylum right now is $4.53, but that goes up as the average amount paid goes up. Go now, get awesome games, and help awesome charities!

Wow. Over 300k copies sold and only FIVE of them for more than the original value, although it's charity? That is kinda disappointing, to be honest. Sure, you can say "I donated $5 to charity" but you also ripped off a company that gave away 6 keys of their hard work...
I'm not interested in any of these games, but I'm still considering to donate a bit... certainly not just $5...
Damn trying to level up paragon is so boring without a group of friends... public games crypt runs suck.
You tell me. Even though I'm only playing with friends I'm stuck at 75 as well.
But there's annoying chores in Terraria as well... killed about a million sharks yesterday to finally get a diving helmet. (Well, only about a hundred but it felt like a lot more). The one accessory that I really need now is the Sandstorm in the bottle... I guess there's no other way than to just create a hundred maps, run to the desert and hope for a pyramid spawn (and then the right drop in the chest)?
By the way, something really funny happened to me yesterday: Was on a floating island when Blood Moon rose. Build myself a small protective fort, popped a water candle and HARPIES EVERYWHERE. Got ~50 feathers in a couple of minutes. Win! Enough gravity pots for now
Cool... I heard there are also wyverns in the sky but i never saw one. Might be a hardmode thing only.
Yeah i would have just gotten a duped diving helmet after killing a couple of sharks. Farming for hours is something i am not going to do, in Terraria atleast. Unless it involves combat and a group of friends.

The nice thing is that you can do other stuff while farming in Terraria. For example, I gathered some 3000 sand to have enough glass for farming (bottles, glass walls for my gardens). I build an underwater house including an air bubble. I took breaks to fly up in the sky and completely disassembled the floating islands (I literally picked up every single block :P). In D3, I can't stand farming because there's nothing to do besides... farming. So to get a change you need to actually change your farming method (new goal, new spec, and so on). In Terraria, combat is always related to gathering materials and using them.
I was getting into Minecraft, thought Terraria was just some rip off.
Boy was I wrong.

Wasteland Quest
Edit: NEW PAGE MEANS NEW RP PLUG. Go play it. Roleplaying forum.
The expansion looks awesome... Yeah some familiar faces started popping up when the expansion was announced. Can't remember any specifics though.
We are playing Terraria though which is kinda cool (Me, Maka, Zero, Link, BagStone and Possibly Stormcat... did i forget anyone?).

I actually am not impressed with the expansion. I pop in from time to time and people were talking about terraria so I was interested. Lol.
