If that's true then that's broken because the "fast" affix would be retarded hard to click on, and it would severely gibble ranged characters' ability to outmaneuver enemies instead of taking hits.
DH can lay a trap that slows/stuns that requires no clicking on mobs. Just an example. You're going to have to learn to be creative.
He states that in Inferno if you find a really hard pack, you are not really able to skip them, while in nightmare and inferno you can kind of just move around them.
Shouldn't it read "while in nightmare and hell"? It sounds rather circular otherwise.
We also have enraged timers, where if you don’t kill the monsters in a certain amount of time, they enrage and then they do massive damage
Holy crap, so not only are the monsters already super hard, but if you don't kill them within a time-frame of the demon's liking, they rage and get even harder. Also "Massive Damage?" how much more massive can it get than 170k in one hit?

actually if 170k is the top then maybe that's the damage they do enraged

It says "min" damage. So that would be the normal hitting you without any crazy effects at all described elsewhere.
@ 2:50 he says that people will beat diablo in normal and then be done with it.
Confirmation that Diablo is the last boss? Or did we already know that?
we already knew that from an interview in aug 2011
I am probably reading way, WAY too much into this, but the comment Jay made about Hell Mode could be a little...concerning. I know Blizzard was saying that they want a lot of viable builds and for skills to be used equally, but in saying that it depends on his current build whether he can get through Hell or not (or at least implies it)...well, it sorta confirms what I was thinking. I know, I know...again, I am probably reading into this way too much, but I can't help but think that this could lead to difficulty tuning adjustments in terms of nerfs, and other things. That, and there could be potential for some skills to just not be used at all and more 'cookie cutter' style popping up. Not that it wasn't going to, but...yeah...just rambling now.
Suffice to say, I am hoping that if Blizzard does get a lot of complaining (which they inevitably will), that they stick to their guns and don't nerf Hell/Inferno and instead balance and tune potential skills and abilities that might be too underperforming and allow for more build diversity. Especially since Bashiok and others in the PR department have been really pushing those 'billons of builds' lately, even if in the end there will definitely not be that many that make it through. Here's hoping there are
*End incoherent rambling*
Actually you didn't think into it enough! This in all likelihood means that there are many packs in hell that clash with your current build and you won't be able to kill them without swapping in a different rune/skill.
If this turns out true, I don't think it's anything too bad... or even new. Most untwinked barbs in D2 had to take a point in Berserk purely to get past physical immunes in hell. The only difference here is that you're not punished for it by having to make a permanent choice.
Personally, I quite like to respec on the fly to suit my environment. If I know there's a boss coming up, I can change my runes over from AoE to single target DPS, and then go back to my preferred style afterwards.
As long as these are isolated instances (and not a necessity to get through all of Inferno), I don't think it harms the game, or will kill the viability of other builds.
It says 10 days until the game, but it is actually 11 days away technically. durr

it's still the 5th here, and since Irvine is based out of Cali, just figured you were going by their time.
edit: nvm, I see what your'e saying,
and count, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th... 11 days including the 5th.. 5th-15th is 11 days, not ten.

No, going by the time when most users will be playing, which is the EU time.
And its
5th -> 6th
6th - > 7th
7 - > 8
8 -> 9
9 -> 10
10 -> 11
11 -> 12
12 -> 13
13 -> 14
14 -> 15
You dont count 15, as your playing on the 15th =)
Lol, I guess it depends how you look at it. It was a snobby thing to point out anyway. Either way I can't fucking wait.

On the playerscutTV video, I can't focus on what Jay Wilson is saying at all. There are people in the background, just behind the camera, whispering. :X very rude.

I'm thinking something happened in data transit between the uploader and YouTube. It's not the first time I've seen that happen to someone.
