In his video, he's bitching so many times about "items that are much cheaper on EU than on US". I wonder if he was just lucky by finding those items? I tried to build a similar set like the one he did and especially all the Zuni items are at least two times as expensive as in his video. I put in the same numbers and the prices were just twice as high, some even more. As for the ring, there was only one matching his stats, for 10 times more buyout (39m). Was he just lucky, or is it that everyone watched his guide and thus people realize "oh these items are worth something" and therefore prices increased? That would make basically every publicly released guide unusable. He also doesn't offer too many alternatives, like rare belt or black weapon, just to avoid running into this problem that you *need* Chanto set, 3 piece Zuni, and so on (which is not the case).
I liked his previous guides and linked them in my gear guide, but this one is in my opinion not too helpful because it falls short on several aspects: too limited choice of alternative gear, too much "luck" involved in sniping the items, a budget that's not really a budget build anymore, and a lot of assumptions that bring people into trouble who just think that within half an hour and with 50m they can build a perfect CM wizard. He has a lot of experience and is able to compute so much stuff in his head, if people do the same in less than an hour I bet many will end up with a flawed set in the end (just falling short on some important EHP stats for example).

I've got only two characters (barb and wiz) and wanted to level both at the same time as I did in D2 already, but D3 just won't let me. A couple of weeks ago I put my barb to sleep and ever since I focused on my wiz only and got to a reasonable paragon level, it works. My barb is even sitting at 2 IK set items already and gets some decent gear, so maybe at around paragon level 70 of my wiz I can reactivate my barb. But if you really want to play all of them in parallel, you'll have a hard time.
To give you some numbers, I felt that at around paragon level 20 you start seeing legendaries drops on a more regular basis, though rarely more than one per day; at around 40-50 it gets crazy and you'll find a handful on one day if you're lucky and play for a few hours.

What I am interested in, is the font change. I did some Google searching and I'm aware of Jay Wilsons' tweet. Was the font change already implemented in this version that Jay is talking about? The re-coloring is just altering some graphics drivers' settings, which is not against the TOS. However, when I went to the website and wanted to download the tool, there was this notice:
So, it is clearly altering GAME FILES (namely, the MPQ files) which is absolutely 100% against the TOS. I'm even surprised that Warden didn't pick this up and lots of people got banned, as MPQ files are being watched all the time (at least that's what I thought Warden is doing).
I was wondering, is Jay's tweet just about the brightness change and the font change was added in later? Are all these people using the font change tool risking a ban at the moment? I'd really like to get rid of the stupid Arial font for items drops, but I also don't want to risk a ban.

THIS! Oh my god, so f***ing true. Most people are just complaining because it lacks pvp or balance (which only matters for pvp), anyways. I am really seriously concerned that Blizzard will give in to all these people demanding pvp and turn D3 into one of the million soulless games out there.

Well, in general I like the idea of more diversity, but it also sounds very much like RNG... if you're unlucky, you just waste machines. And it would only apply to the casual players - players with high-end equip can deal with almost anything.
Not too keen on that, I think there's already enough incentive to run ubers, and if you make the incentive too high, people will ONLY do ubers, just like in D2 where everyone ONLY did Baal and nothing else.

I play because I like to develop a character from a useless level 1 gimp to a high-end killing machine.
I play for the occasional, once in a week moment of bliss when you find that jaw-dropping set item.
And I play because Diablo is a relaxing, simple game that I can play with my friends after work.

If you wanna win this competition, equip "Goldskin". I sometimes run act 1 on low MP with Goldskin and it feels like Scrooge McDuck in his Money Bin. (Higher MP makes the gold piles even larger, ofc, but I lose a lot of DPS+EHP on my chest with Goldskin)

Like Zhaph said: attack speed and magic find are the benefits of using the enchantress. Not a lot, but there's no reason to not make use of her. And of course 7% experience bonus once you have a Hellfire Ring for her.
About MP10: I don't play MP10 myself (my gear is just not good enough). The "easiest" way to survive higher MP levels is with CM locking, yes. Without CM, in order to survive, it's not about the DPS but about the EHP. 400k dps won't get you to MP10 if you lack defense - you simply can't 1-shot enemies on that level. But for first hand MP10 experience, Jaetch can probably give you some hints (have a look at this thread: http://www.diablofans.com/topic/76433-stunlock-archon-mp10-act-3-inferno/. However, keep in mind that his gear is insane, combining great DPS with outstanding EHP.

The only difference is that NV5 gives you at least a 4-affix rare item for a killed elite pack. You don't have any equivalent thing before hitting 60 to ensure rare drops when killing mobs. The only 100% chance for rare drops are, afaik, the very first quest kill of act bosses (final and intermediate ones, so Leoric and Butcher for example).

#2. And it's not just loot, the damage popups' font is also different. How do you do that???

I don't know why everyone is so keen on Vile Ward. If you find one with high int, or get an extremely good deal at the AH, then it's fine; otherwise any good rare shoulders will do and are superior to many Vile Wards I've seen (essentially, a Vile Ward with less than 200 int is useless and oftentimes a waste of money). Get shoulders with near-200 int, near-80 allres, some vit and probably other useful stats (armor, pickup radius, fireres/physres, health globe bonus, ... whatever you feel like). Another big advantage that comes with it: you don't look like the 1000 wizards around you.
You health is more than okay, armor is okay, your dps is fine. I'm not sure how often you die; I guess you're playing a real glass canon Archon on lower MP levels. If you want to go a bit higher, or engage in uber fights, I'd say you definitely need some more allres. Like I said, shoulders are a good place to start with. Boots is just the same story - Firewalkers are nice, but only because they can roll 200+ int. The Firewalkers you have can easily be replaced by 170int/12MS/70allres/80vit rare boots for more survivability.
And like GroentjeBE said, get pants with sockets; though I would not get Blackthorn. You don't need more life, but more allres wouldn't hurt, and you can probably get rare pants with similar amount of vit, int, more allres and 2 sockets if you get lucky on the AH - two more int gems would give you a neat DPS increase here. You would lose your magic find though, but your goal should be to quickly get to a higher paragon level, then you don't need the MF on gear as much anymore. Also, are you running in a group or solo? If the latter, then get your enchantress some gear (Grand Vizier + MF rings/amu).
Edit: Damn, Loroese beat me to it. Of course, Inna's pants are even better if you don't want the survivability (but I would rather give up some int than allres if I were you).

You're at 25k life now, so 1 life% gives you ~250 life. Not much. One vitality always gives you 35 life, so at your level 8% life equal 57 vitality. The more life you have, the more useful life% gets; most wizards are between 30 and 40k, and at around 35k life% slowly starts to pay off.
It is a mixture or vitality only, but you can never stack life% without vitality.
