The fourth season, started in 2007, was ended nearly a year later on June 17th. The fifth ladder season commenced that day.
floatimgleft]http://diablofans.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=88&pictureid=508&thumb=1[/floatimgleft] Patch 1.12 was released that same month, which added a "no-CD" feature so that players couldcopy certain files from their Lord of Destruction expansion disc to their Diablo II directory and be able to play the game without the disc loaded. This was brought into effect to stem the tide of CD-loading programs that allowed users to open multiple windows and thus play multiple characters by using certain third party programs.
That is an interesting issue. Logged on as a regular user I still see them all just fine. The only other thing I can suggest is that you copy the URL's and paste them in to your address bar to look at them. If that doesn't work, I would try clearing your cookies and your cache, although I'm going to guess you already tried that.
Definitely shouldn't be happening- those images are all stored locally on our server and are being referred to directly.
Could you post a screenshot of as much of the article as you can and the source of the page? Are the album 88 the only ones you can't see? I can upload them all in to my album but it may take some time.
I'm really sorry about this, man.
Edit~
There, I uploaded them all to my own album and put them in. I hope they work for you now.

Just a really nice read. I don't remember quite a lot of those patches and I was too young to ever play Diablo 1 online (I finished it in single), but I understand it must've been pretty cool.
Blizzard has a history of making incredibly popular and long-lived games, and this article is a testimony to that.

Nice recap Sixen, but I'm slightly saddened that you only mentioned Blizzard North in there once, I mean they are the original creators of Diablo I and II, shouldn't their downfall be mentioned?

Very well done to the writers, one of the best reads in a while (not that other news posts have been bad), and a great way to start off the new year.
Happy New Year to all my brothers and sisters in arms against the forces of Hell (and Heaven?).
Heres to another decade of diablo (hopefully)

Basically any image from albumid=88 is a bust for me at least.
I'm particularly interest in the 'layer of ice', 'face of diablo' and the 'purple penguin-esque creature'.

Don't get banned Seth
That's a close call.
Hopefully being the key word here... Whoops, downer moment there, sorry about that. It happens.
