After the excessive hype build-up over the last year and its release this previous December, news on the PTR's progress and possible updates on patch 1.13 have ceased. However, Bashiok made a quick mention of the direction of the patch and their hopes for it before it goes live which, as is Blizzard's tradition, is going to be "soon" (c):
Official Blizzard Quote:
The legacy team met late last week to decide how to proceed on the 1.13 patch and the decision was made to go back into development to incorporate a few additional changes. While this patch has already seen its fair share of delays we still want to ensure we're releasing a patch that hits some key community issues. I do want to stress though that while we did look at feedback and responses we're obviously not going to be able to include everything requested. Our hope is to hit at least a decent portion of what we saw people discussing and correct some of the more severe issues while keeping additional development time as brief as possible.
We don't have a current estimate for release, and because work is only just beginning on these new changes we won't be announcing their details. We'll be keeping everyone updated as to the progress of the patch though, and we hope to see this update on the PTR as soon as possible and then off quickly to a release and ladder reset.
Whether "not [...] includ[ing] everything requested" means that we will see some sincere, useful changes in the patch before its release or not is still up for speculation. Hopefully, in the face of the growing indifference towards the patch from long-time fans, they will take suggestions to a higher concern when reworking the patch.

So, does this mean then that they will look into actually doing a bigger stash size? This was one of my disappointments when they said they would not increase the stash size. When they said that, I was like 'Then what was the point of asking us, the users, what we wanted when you weren't going to give it to us?'.

In my opinion: probably not. As it is, their Legacy Team had to work with the increased stash size for "months" to come up with the conclusion that it wasn't possible due to server constraints.
Do you all remember when people joked after the 1 month delay(we were in May 2009 then), that Blizz was speaking of April 2010 and not April 2009 release?
Just a little more than a couple of months now and you will see how the joke became true.
Some skill balancing (Paladin is just plain better than barb and druid. Bows suck. Lighting Sorc isn't as good as the others IMO, and more)
Make some items rarer and some easier to find. Most low level uniques are found way too late and then who cares because they suck. Some of the already very rare items need to be rarer IMO. Oh and it would be kind of cool to have a BoE style implemented to make the ec
They've already said they weren't going to do a bigger stash. That would involve shutting down Bnet for probably most of a day. But why ask the users what they want when they weren't going to give it to them.
@Scyber, I agree. Where is this "content"? They gave the runes color. Big deal. Rune rate drops increased. Really? I haven't noticed any difference in the rate drop. New rune words. Most of which, IMO, suck. I'm not happy as of yet about the new patch. Seems like pretty much all for nothing.

I think that might actually be because the Legacy Team simply didn't know when development started that implementing a bigger stash would be impossible in the current game structure. So they worked with the stash, tried to figure out how to get it to work, only in the end they coulnd't do it. That probably wasn't something they knew from the onset.
They'er not going to fix TPPK. I either think we'll get some new items, or they're rebalance some skills. And by that I mean more drastic things than boosting Immolation Arrow.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

My hope was too high, Now I given up. I don't expect a real balancing. I think they laugh of us or they just too poor to see that too many skills are useless and too many need only 1 point to be extremely usefull. Bad design and they will never fix it.

What I think they *might* fix or look into:
Hammerdin's power in classic
Bring back a weak version of IM
Fix the new Ubers Plvl
Increase Rune drop rate
More skill rebalance
What I think they won't look into:
Dupe methods
Spam bots
Warden Bot Detection on current running bots/apps
and the majority of bugs and issues that have always been around.
Just a little more than a couple of months now and you will see how the joke became true.
