I think they need to fix...
TPPK (even though i have never ran into it)
Some skill balancing (Paladin is just plain better than barb and druid. Bows suck. Lighting Sorc isn't as good as the others IMO, and more)
Make some items rarer and some easier to find. Most low level uniques are found way too late and then who cares because they suck. Some of the already very rare items need to be rarer IMO. Oh and it would be kind of cool to have a BoE style implemented to make the ec

AGREED! As long as people don't exploit the system through cheating, it would be a good method. -
Dec 3, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on Skill System Changes to Affect RespecsPosted in: NewsQuote from "Letyuk" »im for easy respec at any time coz i dont think it'd be an issue.its a metter of choise if u want to roll new build pls roll nothing can stop u if u dont respec and play it discovering how it works at every level pls enjoy and many will at list with favorite class.and why ud be bothered is it cheating or not if u choosed ur way to play thats totaly up to u and no1 else.and not every1 has no life outside of diablo.thats my point of view.respec should cost some gold.
It doesn't work that way. its like giving every player in goldeneye a golden pp7 and you dont use it because you dont like it. not gonna happen.
p.s. - i dont care if a few people say "i dont have time to get to high levels with multiple characters, so they should have respecs". Well, to frikkin bad is the way i see it. Can you imagine if thats how video game developement worked? Yeah they should shorten Final Fantasy games too because of some people who dont have the time to beat them. -

error happen, and a misunderstand of a skill description or if the skill are not good as your wish, like you thought.
Stop your hardcore gamer instinct !! ...Braindead ???? If you like starting over and lose time is your wish lol. I think passing time face a screen make us becoming braindead !!
I never said that I want a complet respecs. Only 1 point by point are enough.
1) I think people should lose skills or something for respecing.
2) To me figuring out skills and whats good combos is fun, but i hear you, and they should have a skill training grounds or something outside of the main game so people can make builds to see if its good. then noone can complain when they mess up.
3) I and others loved starting over. Hell i loved it so much I never got a 99 in the game, because its so fun to start over!
4) I'm not sure what you mean by "only 1 point by point", but if you mean you can respec only the last point you spent then i love that idea. -

I want undo and respecs/quote]
Undo things are pretty good. And yes the gold value I stated was merely filler.
However when you respec your entire build isn't it more fun to start from scratch? Well must be a personal thing then. I think it's lame to just go from Berserker to Juggernaut overnight for example.
no i agree with you, and i know others that do too. I LOVED starting over in DII. -
Dec 2, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on Skill System Changes to Affect RespecsPosted in: NewsQuote from "Odin" »Hopefully they gonna delete the respeccing idea asap.
If everyone can build his own skilltree theres obviously no need for respeccs
quote for the win! I frikkin HATE the idea of respecs to begin with, and he has a point. Gotta say, I'm a bit scared with blizz's idea right now haha. -
Nov 23, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on DiabloFans Exclusive: Jay WilsonPosted in: NewsQuote from "Credge" »In other words, you have trees for each skill.
K.
hmm...if you mean each skill will have its own small tree and different ways to customize it, then that COULD be cool, but the way i gathered it was that it was more like x men or something and just a list of skills. if they nerf the skill system this game could be ruined. -
Sep 29, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on What Do YOU Want To Know About Diablo 3?(some questions might be kind of hard to answer at this point in the game developement)Posted in: News
1.) What kind of respec system are they thinking of having right now?
2.) What are the current plans for "raising skill cap" items?
3.) Will Nightmare and Hell mode be the same as Diablo II, in the sense that they will give better items, mix monsters from different acts, and everything besides those things are generally the same, or will they have some new additions to these modes?
4.) Will there be items as rare as the stone of jordan and others?
5.) Will the barbarian be special in the sense of dual wielding?
6.) Any current amount of skills (in the tree) per character planned?
7.) Any new weapon classes?
8.) Will dungeons (and other areas) be as maze like and exploration heavy? -
Sep 11, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on Why Blizzard Could Soon Return to Game Consoles.I remember some odd years ago (around 4 or 5 maybe) that Blizzard said they were thinking of making Diablo DS (wether it was a port of 1, 2, or a new one altogether). I was very excited if it had been a port of 2, because then i could have taken it with me, and it would give me another reason to play diablo II more and more (even though i did so on the PC anyway lol). I believe the topic just died and they never really said anything more on it.Posted in: News

Sep 11, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on Why Blizzard Could Soon Return to Game Consoles.I am willing to bet that the next diablo is going to be a console game that is more like oblivion. They said they had plans for diablo's future a couple years ago, and i believe thats it. Personally i think DIII should stay PC only along with Warcraft and starcraft, but if the ps3 and 360 can integrate into the community somehow and they arent seperate online groups, then maybe it would be cool. Other than that it could really hinder the online community, i believe.Posted in: News

Aug 26, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on Why Jay Wilson Lets His Daughter Play Diablo 3.Posted in: NewsQuote from "TheBuzzSaw" »I believe he is referring to the fact that most FPS games have more direct connections to reality. Even though Diablo might be more violent/gory than a typical FPS, killing monsters in a completely fictional universe using completely fictional means has less likelihood to affect someone than a game featuring a gangster shooting people on the streets of New York (a real weapon killing "familiar" people in a real city). Granted, different people are affected in different ways, but I find his point valid.
Yeah i guess that's true. You make a good point. I guess i just don't understand people that get affected by video games and go and do stupid things. But i guess those people just have something wrong to begin with and shouldn't be playing these games period haha. -
Aug 26, 2009SNowfreak posted a message on Why Jay Wilson Lets His Daughter Play Diablo 3.Overall he sounds very respectable and nice. I agree with what he says and how he parents is his own business of course, but personally i don't see how FPS's or even "any game with guns in it" is worse than diablo. I think GTA is a different story, but shooters in general aren't that bad, except for a few.Posted in: News

Well i like the sounds of that....I hated that Fallout 3 wasnt even really a FPS at all. Borderlands does it much better IMO. do you level up?
BTW what is psychonauts like?

On a similar note Battlefield Bad Company 2 beta is releasing tomorrow and the pre-order that allows access is available on steam.
p.s. - how is stalker stoaster? I havent played the game before, but it seems kind of like a more action oriented half life, or am i wrong?

BTW how am i supposed to know how to kill some of the bosses. By some of the bosses I mean the big knight with the shield. I have found that I probably shouldn't be there yet and instead went to the mining area that is working out for me much better.

What FPS (frames per second) can the Human eye see? What I mean, is where is the maximum cutoff for what matters? In my mind any PC gamer should know this, but I'm curious.
