I noticed the same thing last night, but only when I was in New Tristram. After that it was fine.Quote from Jaelzadeon
The beta has been really choppy for me today (character porting all over the place in some cases). Not sure if this is just me or if anyone else is having this problem as well. It's still playable, just really annoying when it happens.

Sep 14, 2011Nektu posted a message on New Pals: Blizzard and PayPalHonestly, I see this as the way they can get money from us by making it not a P2P game like WoW. I'm not happy about it.Posted in: News
On the other hand, it may also help cut back the amount of places charging money for items for your characters. IDK. -

Holy crap totally missed that until you pointed that out, Critter. That is pretty funny. Nice job, Sixen.Quote from Sixen
Thank you, I thought it was clever at the time, :).Quote from CritterCutter
Has anyone commented on the irony in the thread title? Blues... blue posts... sad people... delicious irony.

I'm kind of there with you. I can't keep my mercs alive in Hell anyways. But you would think they would put something in place to keep them from being too overpowered and still stay with you throughout. Would what kind of steps they will "take to ensure" you can't take them any further than Norm?Quote from akse
Music to my ears.. hated the overpowered hirelings in d2:lodThey are not intended to be, and we will take whatever steps are necessary to ensure they cannot be.

Right there with ya.Quote from grudgeoms
The news was not surprising since it made sense that the beta would be Q3 of this year and then early 2012 would be the release date of D3. The Live coverage I think was pretty cool and you guys did a good job! only thing I would not like about it was the constant trolls in the Live Comments part of the youtube page. Also when Blizzard had a Q&A ... nobody had any questions for D3 it was all about WoW and COD!? Like who gives a crap about those games lol

Yea. Q3 is beginning of July to end of September, so still pretty much a summer beta.

But seriously, Blizzard has been teasing us way to long with the expectations of a beta release with no satisfying answers as to when. It's getting ridiculous. -

The Council has been talking, and it's time to expand. From here on out, we will have a more community atmosphere. Those who register a forums name, and make an introduction, will be accepted and have a wider range of accessibility to our forums. We will still have a closed clan feel to the D3/D2 and Sc2 areas. We are gamers, and we want to connect with others in the gaming community and expand.
Do you play a specific game and want others to try it out, or connect with them? Then we will make a sub-forum in our Video Games section for it. The time for us to be excluded and to exclude others is over. So, happy gaming!

From here on out, all new registered members who want to be a part of this community, should do an introduction in our Application section if they are choosing not to be a D3/2 or Sc2 member. At that point you will have more access to the rest of the forums. Those who want to be a part of the aforementioned sections should still fill out the application for said section. Any questions, feel free to post them up.

You shouldn't doubt, but since you do you are in for quite a surprise. Venom, before you do open that thing, let me cast a protection spell first. Remember what happened the last time?

We have members holding games of the week, sometimes a few a day, and we would really like to have you as a member.
We are also setting up a vent server, because who wants to go through the pain to type while you are playing.
Go to our site, register a forums name, fill out an application for D3, get set up and start gaming. All new members go through a 2 week probation period. This is for you to see if we are a good fit for you and for us to see if you are a good fit for the Brotherhood. No matter what your experience is, we want you.
Give us a like on Facebook also. Since some of or announcements don't make it to our boards.
The Brotherhood of Destruction, where real life comes before the clan and the game.

Register a forums name, fill out an application in the D3 Application section and we'll get you set up to view the rest of our forums. We are also still taking in SC2 applications.
All new D3 applicants will go through a 2 week probation period, we dropped this from 3 weeks, just so we can see if you are the right fit for us and for you to see if we are the right fit for you.
We are a laid back clan that believes that real life comes before the clan and any video game any day of the week. We are an established clan with a great member base. Check us out!

Start a new topic, follow the application guidelines and we will have you set up in no time. All new D3 applicants will go through a 2 week probation period before being made Full Members. During that 2 week probation period you will be evaluated by your peers on Bnet activity as well as forums activity. Any questions feel free to contact me.

We will, however, continue to accept SC2 applications for full membership to our SC2 ranks.

First tip I'll give you is that too much truffle oil can overpower anything. I'll utilize it in Tomato Bisque, and a good Velvet Spinach soup. You can even add a little to a mushroom soup as well.
Salt? I prefer Kosher salt to anything. Sea salt is alright, but I find I need more of it when cooking. Table salt is alright, but mot prefered when cooking.
As for the type of Truffle oil, I'll have to see what I use. It's not overly expensive, but it isn't cheap. Some of your better oils can get very pricey.

That, my friend, also from my private reserve. It is a 40 year bottle of McCallan. Expensive, and meant for sipping and enjoying.
*looks at glass in own hand and watches as the ice cubes are slowly melting, falling over one another. swirls the glass and takes in the aroma. takes end of cigar and dips it in, then lights it taking long pulls savoring the flavor.
I only break such things out on special occasions.

These are from my private reserve. They are some of the best. Enjoy.
