Was fun to see the enchantress companion you get! I approve!. Also It wasn't as flashy as the barb video, but the unique movements of each stage of an attack are pretty cool!

"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
The Monk has become one of my favorite classes to play in the Beta. I was certain I would roll a Barb/WD first when the game came out.. but now... idk o.o!
The holy trinity in a single class, if you want to be able to do literally anything this might be the class for you. Tank/DPS/Healer-support roles are all avaliable.
So are we to assume both the male and female versions of each class follow the same story? Kinda wish they would make that a more seemless transition instead of always singling one out.
Example: If I am the almighty monk guy, whos this other douche that is also a monk?
I have been following the monk ever since it's announcement. It is true (as I am sure all classes) that it makes all the difference who plays it. Watching Force play the Monk makes me not want to play one. His heavy handed play style does not showcase how well a monk can to. There are some other guys to seem to do magical things are able to move fluidly through generators and spenders.
It's like watching Bruce Lee vs. Hulk. I am very excited to play one, and I will be working hard to obtain the fluidity and gracefulness that is a Monk to me.
Somehow punching demons in the face with bare fists doesn't feel as cool as caving their skulls in with a two handed mace or shaving their heads off with a scythe:D I'll still roll a monk but not before I have fun with my Barb.
A bit lackluster, but I honestly don't think any class will have as much "WOW!" factor as the Barb. I think a lot of that has to do with the physics and the barb's ability to send enemies flying in all directions. Perhaps they should have saved barb video for last?
I went into the Beta wanting to be a Witch Doctor. If the first 13 levels are any indication, I'm super disappointed in the WD. I find them very safe, but do the least DPS of all 5 classes. The monk was somewhere in the middle. He felt like a barb clone. My big surprise was Demon Hunter. At least DH have the best skill for opening barrels (Rapid Fire)

The next class spotlight is available on IGN, this time it's a presentation of the Monk!

Anyway, solid presentation for the monk spotlight.

I do wonder about that bit at the end where he's on the fort with all the demons below him though...
And I've always wondered exactly WHO did the "Aaaeeyaaeeyaaaaaaooo!" bit at the end
