Can we PLEASE go back to Normal/Nightmare/Hell/Inferno With just a few levels of inferno for added drops rate and difficulty

    No, because it sucked
How so compared to this now useless system? The Normal/Nightmare/Hell/Inferno would just be renames of the current difficulties. I really don't see why they changed it from them to begin with. And just widen the gap between the levels of torment and reduce the number of Torment Difficulties. While upping the max level to provide more challenge?

See my only caveat to having the expansion is they're moving people off the team but simultaneously adding new ones back? IT doesn't make sense. Why not just keep the people on the team if you're planning the next game? Why move people and get new ones? New type of game possibly? Maybe a Diablo Fighter ALA MK/SV, or maybe they're moving in another direction with the franchise but I really don't see how? They could pull the other worlds into the game but You'd still have to have that dark evil tone that Diablo is known for otherwise it just won't be a Diablo game anymore. I'm just really confused as to their whole moving people then rehiring.

So guys any thoughts/predictions on what we might see? Last year and the year before( I went) were totally abysmal in news relating to Diablo, but... It has been said that this year we may have something to be excited about. All the news concerning the Dev team has me worried though. If they've got a D3X2 in the pipeline for around next year or the year after (Assuming an announcement at Blizzcon) then why move people off the team, and then turn around and hire new people for similar positions? Doubt D4 will be announced but the whole scheme behind moving people around and hiring new ones has me worried that maybe D3X2 isn't happening, so I don't see what could be so exciting for Diablo fans at this Blizzcon. If you were lucky enough to get tickets let us know too (I tried painfully failing).

You have no understanding of how a DDoS works then. DDoS has nothing to do with security. It has to do with server infrastructure. All they are doing is sending so many requests to get into their servers that they are effectively shutting down their servers by overloading them (think Error 37). You can literally buy this service on the cheap. Some assholes are just doing this for shits and giggles. Fucking losers will be fucking losers.

Pretty much, They missed a huge opportunity with the legendary gems. They refuse to put in any real game changers instead opting for a very 'dudebro' approach of buff this damage, and make this do more damage, and here's more damage for everyone. It's so sickening too. I want some of these underused skills to be at least on par with the ones that have such great synergies with sets, but they're refusing to do a damn thing about it. It's going to take months for them to properly add in the new legendaries, and balance them out. Might even take years. I just hope they realize they haven't really helped anything at all but instead just secluded many more builds into the ones the sets now synergize with. It's so pathetic that only 1-2 sets/skill combos per class can run T6. Where's the variety?

Yeah remember in the 1.0 days when it was either you had a skorns or echoing fury? not fun but it doesn't mean that 2Handers were anywhere near viable. Honestly its pretty sad it took this long to get around to it. And it's sadder that they still haven't really changed the gem problem.

Or the fact that every legendary gem is a fuckin damage boost and nothing particularly fun or interesting to play with. That's my sole problem with this game, it's all about damage and modifier for damage, here's damage there's damage fuck it i'll give you millions of damage... Enough with the damage please give us some god damned build diversity, how about items that change skills and the way they work? So many ideas are being dumped for "do X% more damage" because it's what attracts attention.

It's all well and good but seeing as they are closing the trading forums I think Blizzard is pretty dead set on not bringing it back anytime soon.
This... right here is the sad truth about this game. I'm honestly astonished that such extreme measures are what Blizzard is going for now a days. Hopefully it comes back much later through the cycle.

No, what he's saying is if you have a "fate of the fell" you'd have to spend and unlock point to be able to TRADE it. No AH needed, just person to person trading. I.E. We have to be in the same game together.

    Quote from YoZ

Why was Diablo 3 "vanilla" a shitty game? Because it wasn't an active game at all, it was an auction game. All you had to do was farming the AH to get more gold to buy stuff to... I don't even know? Kill mobs for killing mobs without any hope of getting good rewards? Playing with a gear you didn't even dropped?

And now, you're thinking "eh but I say you have to drop it in order to active the trade mode". Yeah yeah ... NO. What you are basically saying is: 'heyeverybody, let'sBOT AGAIN/MORE'. And when your bot unlock the 10X item, go to AH and buy the item of your dream, in order to Kill mobs for killing mobs without any hope of getting good rewards since you already got what you want.

Everybody was botting back then, and still a lot bot now. But what you are asking is that everybody bot again, and don't play this game anymore.

So my answer to your "idea" is NO. Trading in a game where all the fun lie in FINDING (by yourself) the good item is stupid.

btw, i'm paragon 551, playing all classes, looking for a kridershot on my main class (dh). I don't have it, even after 600+ hour played. An acquaintance of mine dropped it 3 times with is bot.
I'm mad, it makes me questioning what i've been doing so far, but it's still OK. But If you were to put your AH system, I'll quit again this game, like i've done after the first few weeks of "vanilla" diablo 3. And I bet i'm not alone thinking this.
So what you're saying is you didn't read the post, then you bashed his post with inaccurate information, and decided that your opinion was more important than his(implied from your tone and wording). Please learn to read.

To the OP I don't know if limiting the amount of BoA unlocks will really solve anything. The main problem is their is no way to mitigate not getting the exact item you want(outside of Kadala, which can still produce some shitty results). and too little trading won't solve much. You'd be out of your ten unlocks pretty easily. Limited trading to friends or clan completely removes this, and although it does open the door to botters, it most certainly doesn't mean you can necessarily even trade with them so long as Blizzard puts in a system ala League of Legends, where you can't gift them a skin until you've been friends for a while. Honestly I'm hoping for trading to return in D3. It would add something else to the game that could benefit all players. You'd be able to switch builds daily and test and see which you like more, and you'd be able to experiment more, earlier in the cycle of gearing. It only adds and people who bitch about it are paranoid. They always fall back to the excuse of Botters but in reality its such a minimal impact that most people wouldn't worry about it.

On a side note HOLY SHIT I've been a part of this forum for 8 years. Damn I feel old and I'm only 19

So basically those items will stay, but some items have changed, none of the item changes are retro-active. Having Tals prior to 2.0 doesn't give you the post-2.0 set bonuses. And now certain legs have some Legendary Affixes, one example is mirrorball, now enables you to shoot 1-2 more magic missile shots. In addition there are new legendaries. Can't find an exact list it is quite long.
