In an effort to stop the RMAH from killing PVP

Why doesn't blizz make drop rates substantially better until (if?) 1.1 releases? Make it so a legendary that drops in Inferno has no less than 1000 dps, increase the chance of set items to drop. Fix the broken RNG system that puts STR on Quivers and INT on Mighty Weapons so every class specific item actually benefits the class it pertains too! How about increasing NV stacks to 10 so players on lower MP levels have a better chance to get a hellfire ring? Doubtful any of these changes will be made, I'm just a player that is slowly losing interest in the game day by day. I still do a few Alk runs a day to level my Demon Hunter, but the path to 100 is a lonely one since pub games don't have MP.

Also, we all know the official D3 forums have always been a haven for trolls and QQ'ing, but I have seen many different threads from players that haven't recieved money from the RMAH in 10 plus days. The most controversial aspect of the game is causing more problems than benefits? Imagine that, joke's on you Jay.

This game at its core is a lot of fun. The Dark D3 mod improves the visual experience substantially. D3 is the only game where I can listen to full albums without realizing how much time goes by . Part of that is because the music/sound effects are atrocious but that was realized at launch day.

have you really played this game???

what has NV got to do with chances at keys/organs???

other then that through your whining you communicate the fact that you are a greenhorn player that would want the moment you reach inferno to be swamped with godly items - 1000 dps+ legendaries, perfect rolls on items, etc... and then what... then complain that you have no reward for 300+ hr of gameplay....

the game is ok, just play and you will get rewarded, with good drops now and then either for you or for gah in order to make the money you need for something you like...

What did any of this have to do with the RMAH? We already know you're going to be matched up against similarly geared and skilled players.

This game isn't meant to hold your interest forever. If you've gotten your money's value in play time and it's not fun, just quit. Come back in a few months or something. That being said, I'm sure it's a lot more fun if you play with friends. Probably a lot easier to get to paragon 100.

Does no one remember that people will be matched up in a system like Starcrafts?

    By gear.

Meaning, CC warriors will more then likely end up matched up against other CC warriors.

From what I've seen you aren't matched by gear but by previous record. As you lose or win more, you will slowly move closer to opposition with similar records.

Hmmm .. I could have sworn Blizzard said you would be matched by gear but I could be wrong. :)

Effectively you will be. You will be matched based upon your record against other players and their records. I.E. On day 1 everyone will be fighting everyone. It will work out that you will be against people that get about as many wins against the same people you play as you do. So either their gear is better and they are less skilled, less geared but more skilled, or about even in skill and gear. Except in extremely rare circumstances that someone exploits the rating system to get a low ranking and then equips high end gear you will be paired up pretty evenly, but they won't stay there for long. That's an outlier that I wouldn't expect to make a significant impact.

Look up the Elo rating system for more information.

10 stacks of NV? Every man and his dog having a 1k weapon?

Now ive heard it all. Really have you thought about how this would effect the game?

And instantly 1000dps weapons are gimp and worthless, nobody has any interest in anything unless it is 1200+ dps. Or 1300+. Or whatever.
