But they do? Increased beneficial effect duration, increased negative effect duration, and increased proc chance. Now, how valuable the actual bonuses from angelic/demonic/ancestral power will be, I don't know, but they do provide an actual bonus themsleves.

I like the "must have cleared GR70 solo" requirement, because it means I'll never be eligible for one and thus I can pretend they don't exist in the game at all.
Before it was a bad idea that would negatively affect my enjoyment. Now it's a bad idea I can comfortably ignore.

I was quite looking forward to Set Dungeons, but unfortunately, what they've delivered reminds me of nothing so much as Guild Wars 2's jumping puzzles.
Sad to say, I don't think I have experience even one moment of pleasure from a Set Dungeon. Just frustration, aggravation, and then success giving a feeling of "thank god I NEVER have to do that again" rather than satisfaction at a challenge overcome.
I don't know if GloryJak's "80%" number is accurate or not, but I know that I'm one of his "80%" group.

Haha, I remember when D3 sold 3.5 million in the first day, all the haters screeched and cried and stamped their tiny feet and insisted that it only sold so many because of all the suckers that bought it because they loved D2, and all the WoW players that got it with a one-year sub.
Wonder what excuses they can dream up for 30 million? I'm sure they'll never, ever be able to admit that it sold that many because it's a bloody good game and most of the people who play it give it great word of mouth.

I know a lot of people say "remove trials, just let you choose any GR level up to the highest you've reached before".
How about - hear me out - don't remove trials, but let you exchange a trial key for a GR key of the highest you've gotten from a trial?
So you have the option, either do the trial and try to get a better result than you've ever gotten before. Or if you don't think that's likely (e.g. your character is no more powerful than when you got your previous best), just reclaim your previous best GR key.

Huge fail. There are other ARPGs that put other class skills on items and it's fucking awesome. No one EVER complained about that either. The concentrated coolness of your class is not needing a piece of gear to use that skill.
Selective memory? I remember plenty of complaints about Enigma in Diablo 2 and how mandatory it was for all other classes to get Teleport. -

Is it because it only shines with certain gear sets which the vast majority of players haven't collected? Is it because it's harder to play and thus only superior if you're a great player? Is it because it is effective but un-fun? Is it just because the unwashed masses are lolnoob?

Haven't actually looked at Challenge Rifts and don't have any plans to. The idea is completely uninteresting to me and I can't think of any tweaks to it that would make me interested.

I would have happily paid my $A22 just for two stash tabs and two character slots even if there wasn't a new class included as well.

imho it's a nice boon for anyone who uses separate gear/skills for e.g. speedfarm vs. hard content. Or for anyone who wants to try out a different build and be able to simply switch back to their "main" with a click of a button.

Nope and don't expect to. Similar reason to chadwx - I have no intention to ever try to master a set dungeon, that's the most anti-fun crap I have ever experienced in any Diablo game.

Realistically, if you have four pieces from Haedrig's gifts, you should have six pieces approximately ten minutes later. :-)
Have you tried to do the GR20 for the third gift and failed?

I guessed S1/S2. Not sure exactly though. It was early in the seasons, though. Since then been all solo.
Since solo and multiplayer are completely different games, with multiplayer progression being 10x to 100x faster, you really have to play 100% solo or 100% multiplayer. If you try to mix, every second you spend playing solo is time spent gimping yourself. But if you play 100% solo you can enjoy that very different game.

PoE definitely has some interesting mechanics, like the skill gems + support gems + linkages between them.
But I simply never found the action to be anywhere near as much fun as D3. I spent some dozens of hours playing it, then went back to D3.

If someone is so obsessed with how well they do relative to others that they're willing to cheat to win, well that's just fine.
But if someone points out that these cheating scum are damaging the competitive spirit of the game, then they're a bad person who is too worried about "not real life things".

I'm a Blizzard nerd, I'm playing Diablo and WoW, and I play Hearthstone at lunchtime at work.
If you're interested in games like Diablo, I checked out Devilian recently, but frankly found it a massive disappointment. Had absolutely no desire to launch it again after spending one evening playing it, and uninstalled it.

Answer me this question: are you, as a non-season player, going to have less stash space as a result of this change, or exactly the same amount as you have now?

My day job also includes looking after a website, and I feel your pain. Spammer truly are the scum of the earth, they shit up absolutely everything on the internet with their garbage, and keeping that crap away from the eyes of your actual users is a massive and thankless job.
