Who else is excited to see some of the achievements for D3 ! I realize that the the vast majority of the achievements won't be in the beta, but I'm still curious to see what some of the ones that are included are like.
Once the servers are up if those of you lucky enough to have access would you mind sharing some of that info here? =D
I'm curious to see what kind of achievements they have. Unfortunately they've run into some problems with the beta patch and don't know when it's going to be available.
How can you seriously have a problem with co-op achievements?
Because you don't like playing with others, you don't want people who do to get achievements?
I don't understand why they need to have the same achievement for solo play and also co-op. I'll still do them of course, because I'm also an achievement whore and want to complete as many as I can, but with co-op achievements I feel like I'm dragged into doing co-op, which I don't care for, just to get an achievement. I guess for me it takes the fun out of it because I'd rather do everything solo. It won't be hard for me to get those achievements, I'll just bug a buddy to help me out, but I'd rather not have to.
But this is the first we've heard of achievements and they may take out a lot of the repeated ones that have a solo and co-op version of them.
Im deff gunna try getting a lot of the achievements in diablo 3 also. From the list of achievements that were posted that are from the beta... are gunna be like that at release.... it shouldnt be that hard to get. hopefully we do get awarded for getting the achievements also at release. Im guessing you will, but still I hope so. That would be cool if you would get a special title for doing all the achievements in beta, that would carry over too release but i doubt that.

If you don't want to play co-op then isn't it enough for you to complete the solo achievement version? Most of them seem to come in dual pairs, so you can take your pick if you don't like doing both.
The D3 team has said several times, that it is a co-op game with focus on trading.
Don't remember the specific ones but I do recall Jay Wilson saying on interviews more than once that they view it as a co-op game, with the option of doing everything single player aswell.

Well, only if doing the co-op achievements doesn't give me more achievements. Like I said, I'm an achievement whore, so if I can get more achievements, I'll do them. But if you can do either or (solo or co-op) to get the same achievement and it doesn't give you even more points doing the co-op one, then I'd just do the solo stuff.
i think the achievements will be epic. it will make me redo that one boss and doing the achievement . its good to see that they are adding them to the beta.
They have pretty much added even more reason to play the shit out of the game bored of mf runs? No worries go smash out some achievements!
I'm going to hump your leg now Blizzard.
But like others I'll be leaving the co-op ones till last because I like to play by myself or with close friends and alot of my close friends also prefer to play solo and socialize via forums instead to set up HC tournaments, item grail lists etc.
Achievements are for retarded monkeys who happen to play games. "BLIZZARD TOLD ME TO RUN IN CIRCLES FOR AN HOUR AND I DID IT... ACHIEVEMENT!" Apparently retarded monkeys buy a lot of games.

Acheivments do one thing, and one thing only to non-retards: Make public games less enjoyable. Retards will be trying to do the meaningless achievements like Instant Karma or whatever idiotic achievements they imagine.
Achivements are inferior to a Log Book in every way imaginable. Instead of it giving you an Achievment for doing something X times, just have a Log Book that records how many times you have done X.
I haven't heard anything about a Log Book, which surprises me because of how obviously superior it is.

^Boub posted a list of achievements that will be available. Keep in mind it's datamined stuff and not official.
I don't like co-op achievements... /loner
same here.
But I think later I'll try the coop mode
Well it is a single player game with co-op, not a co-op game with some single player.

A co-op game with single player would be like WoW. Its meant to be played in groups, but you can play by yourself to a limited extent.
A single player game with co-op would be like Diablo. It can be completed solely by yourself, but allows you to group up with other people.
