Q: If I live in Australia/New Zealand/Southeast Asia, what server will I play Diablo III on?
A: As with StarCraft II, players who purchase the Australia/New Zealand/Southeast Asia version of Diablo III will have their own regional servers, offering lower latency and more action during peak hours. While we encourage players to play on these servers, we recognize that many have longstanding friendships with North American players and would like to continue playing with them. Because of this, we're again giving Australia/New Zealand/ Southeast Asia gamers access to both regions' servers so they can choose where they'd prefer to play.
WOOOOOT? so they may have some new hardware setup in australia, maybe some new WoW australians servers too!
Sorry to burst the bubble but I play SC2 on both SEA and NA and I get less lag when using NA. The servers for SEA are still physically in North America.

Sorry mate, He is refering to the SEA server's that are used for Starcraft 2 currently ( which are located in South-east asia ) Cant remember the exact country, but it's in asia
We will not be getting server's located directly in Australia, he suggests SEA server's the same which are used currently for Australia/ NZ / SEA atm
I highly doubt they will ever put server's directly located in Australia; I doubt our shit government would even like that, plus unfortunately I don't see Blizzard setting up server's here any time in the near future
And to further ruin your hopes, the server located in South-East Asia doesn't actually connect faster then the North-American server's for me personally and pretty much 90% of people I know
I will still be connecting to Diablo 3 via North-American server's not only because it's better latency then SEA, but the playing-experience.

Thanks for the heads up, though
