Siegebreaker Assault Beast - Hoping he functions like in the first gameplay video.
1000 Pounder - Hoping he functions like in the first gameplay video.
A Giant Fallen - One huge, extremely powerful Fallen monster with hordes of smaller Fallen around him.
King Leoric - Functions like in the demo people have played.
Act Boss:
Azmodian (Spelling? :P) - Hope this is a little more plain of a boss fight. He just hurts very badly... Perhaps add some flavor to it by making you dodge a couple of big attacks and run for health globes, etc. I kind of picture him like Hellraiser or Carnage from the Spiderman comics... Lots of chains and stuff like that flying around.
Act 2
Sub-Bosses:
Mistress of Pain - Hoping she uses a lot of poison, making you consistently balance going to get health globes because your life will always be dropping due to poison. Hoping she will web up into the ceiling or something along those lines every 25% of her health that goes away and more smaller spiders will come down to attack. Once you kill them, she comes back, etc.
Giant Lizard Creature - Similar in size/difficulty to the Siegebreaker.
Some sort of large, demonic wizard/summoner - Raises demons, uses slow time against you.
Act Boss:
Belial - Hoping there is a lot of him teleporting around in this fight with copies of him spawning and attacking you. Since he uses illusion, I think it'd be cool if he changed his form every 20-25% of his life that you knock down and the mechanics of the fight change a little.
Act 3
Sub-Bosses:
That crazy skeleton thing from the Demon Hunter video - Functions like "That crazy skeleton thing from the Demon Hunter video".
Act Boss:
An Angel - Not sure which one. But I think it could be an amazing fight with the crazy tentacle wings and stuff lashing out at you.
Act 4
Sub-bosses:
Mephisto - Functions very similar to how he did in Diablo 2. Just adding in a bit more strategy.
Ba'al - Would also function very similar to how he did in Diablo 2. Just adding in a bit more strategy. I think his tentacles that come out of the ground are an awesome fit for this type of game. ( Even though they can be annoying )
Personally, I like the idea of more scripted boss fights like they've been talkingabout. Wailing on groups of smaller monsters with frantic clicking is one thing, but I like my bosses to be more strategic.
1) Butcher! He spawns with a bunch of mobs that attack the players. If any of these mobs are killed the Butcher eats them and regains health!
I kinda like this, except maybe in reverse. As you fight every so often groups of monsters will spawn and assist the boss. If the player doesn't kill the spawns within so many seconds, the boss takes a bite of one and regains some health.
Personally, I'd like to see some kind of naval battle. We're going to be crossing oceans/seas at least a couple times in the game, perhaps it's not just during act transitions, and we'll have some fighting on ship decks, shooting cannons and smashing enemies who swing onto the deck.
I'm not totally sure that fits the theme of a Diablo game (sea monsters/pirates/etc not generally overlapping with demons very much), but it would be cool to see this kind of variation in the D3 environment.
I for one am one of the people hoping that the island concepts we've seen were indeed put in the game. I *think* I heard they cut the part taking place in the Skovos islands, so maybe not, but it's so pretty
It could always be Xiansi, which is confirmed, but this seems really tropical--and Xiansi is far north. So I dunno.
I want a boss that kills you in one hit... N O M A T T E R W H A T ! ! ! ! Cause that would be awesome

I think it would be cool Then you had to attack it in a certin way in order for it to die. Cause I would be all like "BRING IT ON MOTHAFUCKAA!!!" *DesmondTiny has been slain* "Crap time to try it again!"

I think Archbishop Lazarus may be making a return?
Hardly possible that this guy is Lazarus....
I'm just basing it off this cain entry (found on diablo3.com), which happens to be talking about Lazarus with a picture of a figure that looks similar to that colored concept art...
Yea but thats just a recap really. If they brought Lazurus back he better be more bad ass and awesome sounding than ever...cause in D1 his voice was pure win.

If they are going to bring one back from Diablo 1, besides leoric since he's already in, it should be the Butcher. Why? Because he is the Butcher, and the Butcher is awesome. It would be great as a sidequest where maybe this person needs some help because his friend/family was captured by demons. You go to inspect the area and the whole room is filled with blood, corpses are strewn upon the floor and staked upon spears. Then you see a "clickable item" or quest item on the floor, which is the persons friend/family member's corpse. Your character says something that updates the quest, then BOOM! Butcher comes outta no where running his fat, red body towards you, cleaver in hand, once again cover in blood. As far as the combat goes... hehe I went a bit off into my head there but I definitely think the bosses should provide some sort of strategic way to win. Having a unit with huge armor/health/damage is sort of boring, I liked how Diablo made you pay attention and run at the sight of Lightning Inferno
Agreed dont bring back the Butcher... I want to go play D1 again and be like "OH SHITZZZ I FORGOT IM ONLY LEVEL THREE...Well back to town here we go!"

I think it would scare the crap out of me to see a mini-boss which we cannot actually kill the first time around. As in, it is actually part of the story that we need to run away, with a small section of the game dedicated to escaping from this boss. You would attack him to injure him and slow him down but he would slowly heal and regenerate himself and continue to come after you, like some sort of old horror movie. Then you are forced to battle him and it appears as though you have killed him and you move on with the game, just as you think that it is over BAAAMMMM he crashes through a wall and scares the crap out of you.
It could turn out that latter on a quest provides us with a special potion or weapon that needs to be used to kill him and we carry it around with us ready for our next encounter. So you are battling some fairly standard ghouls and out of nowhere BAMMM he crashes through a wall again and scares the crap out of you. You need time to switch weapons to the special weapon needed to defeat him so you must fight him and do enough damage to him such that he needs time to recover and regenerate, you quickly equip the special item and slay him just as he finishes regenerating from your previous beating.
I want him back. Same mechanics as in D2. Just make him stronger.
Killing duriel was always the funniest boss kill in a full game. It usually resulted in Duriel chasing people around in circles in that tiny room for 10 minutes.

What are your bosses ideas?
How would they play?
For example, I can see a boss where you need to trigger catapults to kill it while avoiding his attacks and hordes of monsters.
Bonus damage if you trigger a catapult aimed at one of it's weak spots (The weak spots move)

we know necro will be npc that gives you quest, how about have to fight one of the other characters?
Lets say, Possessed Druid, or corrupt assassin.
It could turn out that latter on a quest provides us with a special potion or weapon that needs to be used to kill him and we carry it around with us ready for our next encounter.
