I have a relatively good idea that i think would be real nice to have implemented into the Unhallowed Essence set. With all the rapid fire gear that have been dropped throughout the patches why not implement rapid fire into the 6 piece set bonus of unhallowed essence for more build variety and powerful builds. I think that since we have a rapid fire quiver a bow i believe and the skill changes done i believe in 2.3 that rapid fire if given a source of power could be very great. it may even compete with UE multishot build i am not quite sure but considering you wouldn't have to worry about hatred almost at all and with the changes to UE %dmg it will be very powerful if we do not have a bow for rapid fire but i believe we do that does this i believe maybe we could have a weapon that lets you either get one other rune or maybe increase rapid fire dmg by 100%. please leave feedback any is good maybe blizzard will see this and implement it or say why they won't

The only thing I can think is that Blizzard wants some sort of pseudo sense of progression for seasons. It would be far more interested if legendaries just created new mechanics, or used round about ways to increase damage. But hell by season 7 everything will be +10,000.
So hypothetically off of power creep subject since UE has 4000% dmg if rapid fire was added to ue which would be more powerful multishot or rapid fire since if you use the quiver u don't need to use withering fire high velocity doesn't have a use cause lightning dmg sucks bombardment has potential since Ithe us grenades and if u use grenadier passive grenades do more dmg and bigger radius that means you will not only be doing a ton of dmg with rapid fire bUT also with grenades which will drop alot since it will be free to channel rapid fire where as multishot u use arsenal and get missiles and can use balistics which also benefits vengeance which will be used in this hypothetical build either using dark heart cubing the helm and using mortar which is more grenades also more dmg and mitigation and could use grenade as primary using stun grenade since u won't need hatred you would be using usual vault trail of cinders for dmg wolf pet and of course preparation invigoration for more discipline and dmg. So at the end of this can someone please do the math of how much dmg you would hypothetically be doing and find the hypothetical dmg of multishot in new patch. Because I'm hoping blizzard will see this and consider it for new patch and I think k they will if they see numbers and people actually looking into it
The balance of dps across all sets is what they need to get right. Patch 2.4.1 should be about getting right what they said they were going to do in 2.4, If buffing UE is what they need to do to make the set viable for GR pushing then I'm all for it, however it should not be notably stronger than other sets. This game should be about choice. The current DMO ET Wiz + 3 supports is a real joke and I imagine the Diablo dev team must be very embarrassed with how this season has played out.

Blizzard's current philosophy is to only nerf outliers when they are utilizing a playstyle that Blizzard doesn't like (Thus the nerfs to Twister, Globe builds, earlier nerf to SC monks, ect)
Other then that, Blizzard will buff underpreformers to make them competitive with the top builds. That 4000% UE increase makes it on par with the Crusader/Wiz solo builds. Same thing with every single other buff to the various sets. Blizzard does this because it is NOT fun to suddenly be unable to do GR 90 because you got a 20% nerf, its better to buff everyone else to be able to easily do GR 90. Blizzard CAN do this because Diablo utilizes an infinite progression model - There is no *obtainable* cap to the game right now, in any form.
I think Blizzard will eventually hit a threshhold where they've brought everything up to a lvl where they go "Eeeh, lets not increase anything beyond this point"

It will only be more viable if either the multishot or rapid fire performs better than M6 (i.e. simply deals more damage overall)
Sadly, Rapid Fire really isnt good because standing and hitting one target at a time isnt good for GRs. They need to introduce more complimentary legs for it to work.
While channeling Whirlwind, Rapid Fire, Strafe, Tempest Rush, Firebats, Arcane Torrent, Disintegrate, or Ray of Frost, you deal 20–25% increased damage and take 25% reduced damage.
Rapid fire actually does need one specific change to make it LoN viable and that's a change to Sin seekers. It's contradictory to to the new 2.4.1 taeguk which applies to only channeled skills that spend resource and has decreased duration and the other two items mentioned above. Since (arguably) the best build for rapid fire would look something like this it makes it unusable since the quiver removes the channel cost it it won't proc taeguk. So you are forced to either go with an unholy point shot for increased elemental damage or scrap rapid fire altogether for strafe that has better utility items available (100% movement speed and piercing strafe projectiles)
so basically right now with the legionaries for rapid fire it has potential to be lon viable but it would not add enough damage to make it very powerful so the play style might be a lil funky sitting shooting at one thing letting grenades do quite a lot of work but it will not proc taeguk unless it spends resource which brings out the sin seekers or taeguk taeguk which benefits channeled skills gives a bit of dmg boost and armor boost whereas sin seekers makes it free giving flat out rapid fire dmg as a stat which i multiplicative i believe so wouldn't that make the damage boost from sin seekers higher than the one from taeguk there fore u would definately be using bane of the trapped bane of the stricken and maybe esoteric alteration bane of stricken will add tons of dmg since you will be channeling skill so the PlayStyle will be like a awkward disintegrate wizard build spamming rapid fire grenades blowing up if added to UE it will make 2 viable UE playstyles since the damage will make rapid fire itself viable and pretty fun being pretty much a single target semi multi target making more viable DH builds or they could add some new rapid fire legs and let UE do all the work
i think they are evening out the sets at the moment UE has 400% dmg marauders now has 4000% dmg they both just have different playstyles and shadows im not sure if it will be good this patch
i think if there would be a lon build for rapid fire there would need to be more rapid fire gear or raise LON dmg which they cant do cuz it would make all other builds useless or other classes so really to make rapid fire good there is 2 options to do without making other classes builds worthless either A add rapid fire to UE which would be amazing or B add it to marauders 4 and 6 peicee buff but if it was added to marauders you would also get your AOE since all five sentries would be doing rapid fire but if you did this there would be no sin seeker use since you 100% need bombadiers for marauders and would be cubing dawn or what is the other weapon u cube when using marauders i dont know but anyway so marauders is kinda out of the question since it is already to not over powered but powerful LON possibly if more items that increase rapd fire dmg get brought out or something like a chest peice that greatly increases any grenade dmg since if you use rapid fire you would be using bombardment as i said above or they could also have a bracers since they kinda like making op bracers for each build on each class i dont know there are so many possibilities for rapid fire if given a chance with extra gear or a set that increases damage.. IF POSSIBLE MAY SOMEONE SHOW THIS TO A DEV OR IF ONE IS LOOKING PLEASE SAY IF YOU WILL DO ANYTHING WITH RAPID FIRE

There are three items total that are specific to rapid fire. one of the items applies to a different skill for each class but two for Demon Hunters.

The 2.4.1 Taeguk only works with channeling skills like Rapid Fire and Strafe so I could see a Rapid Fire/FOK LON build. Maybe.
