Hope you don`t think you are good cause you abuse of the game mechanics + you use auto-swap gear script also.
Monks should stop feeling power just because they abuse of this.
Hello there and thanks for commenting everyone... This has nothing to do with me being good because my main set of gear is pretty decent... I made this video to show people how "OverPowered" this Can really be if done correctly... Personally I think it should be fixed... But all it is just like everything prior is clever use of game mechanics and the use of my Logitech G510 keyboard.

Yes,it should get fixed, but these are not game mechanics,I personally don`t consider they made the Sweeping Wind mechanics work like this voluntary, imagine using this in a PvP Arena game(if we will ever have anything like this), nothing could beat this, this is more likely a bug rather than game mechanics.
It should really get fixed soon.
Completely Agree. Here in a little while I will make another video explaining why and how it does so much damage for me.
Gear swapping should simply not exist in this game, however that is merely an opinion.
Unfortunately they have made it evident that their current stance is that they will tolerate it as its been in the game so long as evidenced by their response to Magic Find gear swapping. The 'snapshot' concept as well has been around for quite a bit and may follow suit considering it does add a sense of complexity to the game even if gear swapping didn't exist.
While I agree that gearswapping is an issue and not a fun part of the game (I do it as well, the benefit is too great) Simply removing snapshot doesn't really fix anything. Sweeping winds snapshots your current weapon without gearswapping (I'd love to not have to look at my attack speed to see which weapon is active before casting), so in order to remove snapshots entirely, you have to average weapon damage between 2 weapons, which is not currently how almost any skill works. It's not quite as simple a fix as one might think.
I do think they will change something eventually to decentivize gearswapping though.
For all you very mature people that like to whine like little girls.SW snapshot should not be taken away because that;s like the bulk of our dmg.
What should get removed is that gear swap thingy.Once u engage in a battle your gear is locked or smth.
If they do remove snapshot I see some monks quitting, hell im para 88 and if they do that I wil for sure quit until they buff smth.Either they keep snapshot or they buff our dps by a lot.
I just started using Sweeping Wind and after reading this topic now realize I don't understand this snapshot stuff and it's implications for what gear to look for. I don't want to change gear mid-fight, but would like to get the most out of that skill. Could someone please help me understand what attributes are important?
It isnt really botting imo, but judging by how Blizzard normally rationalizes these things, it is probably exploiting. Which isnt so different of course.
In the end Blizzard probably wont ban anyone for it. Much simpler to just remove the reason to use it in the first place; snapshot effect on gear swapping.
I dont understand how people can say it would be a nerf to all monks to remove the snapshot effect... it wouldn't affect anyone else than those who (ab-)used that mechanic.
Now if blizzard made a broad nerf to the monk to compensate for having the snapshot effect. THAT would indeed be a nerf for everyone.

Yes.. Life Steal is snap shotted from sweeping with and that is what is healing me the entire time.

Can you give me a estimate how much both gear sets cost ? (pre and post snapshot)
Currently away ATM I will be uploading a video later on so everyone can see
