I just started using Sweeping Wind and after reading this topic now realize I don't understand this snapshot stuff and it's implications for what gear to look for. I don't want to change gear mid-fight, but would like to get the most out of that skill. Could someone please help me understand what attributes are important?

I like the idea of the RMAH and will use it to get a cheap upgrade from time to time. However, lately, I keep running into that "Auction is currently under review." much more often than ever before. Right now I am waiting on a review for a $3.00 glove. This is day two of the review. The money has been in my Blizzard account for over a month and this is not my first purchase using that money.

I wonder if this is an attempt to discourage use of the RMAH, or just much more vigilance due to so much duping? I have a hard time understanding why it takes 2 days (and it's not mine yet) to review something so simple.

Puzzled and discouraged.

Yesterday I ran across an elete pack with Waller, Vortex, and Reflect Damage on them. Once involved I couldn't run away, kept being walled in, and lost health whenever I could create some damage. So, of course, I died. But as I was close to my waypoint when I revived I was right back in the battle. What fun. All I could do was leave the game and try again.

When there are mobs around that can't be beat it is VERY frustrating. I don't understand why this is good for the game.

Just a rant. I wanted to blow off steam.

I wonder what the logic was that didn't allow legal add-ons to D3. I also play WoW and the add-ons there are an important part of the game. They allow players to create routines that make many functions easier and more fun. None of the add-ons allow a player to be more powerful or run faster or do anything that diisadvantages another player. As any WoW player knows, add-ons add a lot to the game. I hope that their use will be considered in the future.

I just got Zunimassa's Trail which says "Adds 8% to poison damage". Does that mean that when I use Acid Cloud I get 8% more damage, but when I use a non poison damage spell I get nothing extra?

Thanks to your suggestions I just killed Ghom. Wasn't that hard when I followed your advice.

I only have 28k damage with a shield and can't get Ghom to any more than halfway dead. Using Z bears and acid cloud. What strategy works? Is my damage just too low ? Very frustrating.
