Mind the fact the rune only increase the damage on the "impact" area which is kinda small and problably difficult to aim. Still, 445% weapon damage burst is huge.
Barbarian was hugely buffed. His skills are ridiclously strong compared to other classes. Surely because his a melee ton.
I don't see the point in leap attack anymore. The rune effects of Furious Charge overwhelms those of Leap Attack.
Also, more power in the animation as well!
This is quite true, but i like the fact that Leap Attack works on ledges and different floors. From a pure mobility standpoint, i think that it is still superior, but FC rune effects and damage are much better. I'm torn.
My thoughts exactly. On paper some skills look obviously better but the micro-intensive skills always look bad on paper. A skill like leaping attack has so many micro advantages that you shouldn't overlook. IF you have the skills to wield micro heavy skills they are usually vital weapons in one's arsenal.
I'm still quite sold on leap attack, but FC is quickly regaining ground, since it has much better rune effects.
I'm really undecided.

He might still be having some survival issues beyond hell? The recent changes reflect it.
Furious charge works just like Leap Attack. Easy targeting.
I think furious Charge work more or less like Dashing Strike (monk). If it's the case, it's little hard to aim.
I think it is perfectly viable to have both Leap Attack and Furious Charge. I like mobility, personally, so since both have cooldowns I would want both to move around the battlefield every 5 seconds or so. Both abilities have specific situations where one will be better than the other, so I don't think you can really go wrong with having both.
I think the big difference between the two is how much ground you are able to cover. Leap has an incredibly large ranged with weaker effects, whilst FC has a much shorter range with more potent effects. Which is better is really a matter of what you're going for.
was considering using this skill as a tank type build. more so for a point of escape in those oh shi... moments. added in rune for life steal on all targets hit, would be a nice move imo for that in particular. my only concern is does it go a specific distance no matter what or will it go to exactly where clicked??
Woah Furious charge seems like the best skill ever!
havent really looked into it before, since i was really shure i was getting leap, but im about to change my mind
and with that crazy dmg it can work in burst builds / crit build really well
Furious Charge with Merciless Assault seems far too good to pass up from a mobility perspective. It basically allows you to be anywhere on the battlefield at whim, which is simply invaluable for any melee character. Does anyone know if FC works exactly like dashing strike? I.e. if you hit no target with it (such as in escape situations) there is a slight delay at the end of the effect essentially negating it's movement bonus. Judging by the video, it looks to me that there is a slight delay at the end of the effect, but it's hard to judge because the player is actually hitting the monster when he charges. I hope this is not the case, but this would certainly mitigate it's overall usefullness as an escape tool on top of a virtually essential battle mobility tool.
