    Honestly I'm still torn, considering monk as a first for sure at the moment. However the barb and the DH are fairly high on my list as well, I very much like the style and feel of the DH, demonic powers ect, great feel; I also like the barbs generally role of being the one to lead the charge, soak up, and dish out damage. The monk I feel falls somewhere in the middle of style / finess and strength. Anyone have any opinions that could potentially sway me in one direction? It would be most appreciated =)

    I think most of the skills that have such a long CD have it for a reason. 7 sided strike for example, you are completely untargetable / unable to take damage for the duration of preforming the spell. If they were to give it much shorter of a CD people would be spending too high of a % of the time immune to damage. As for inner sanctuary, it is equally potent in creating bottle-necks, holding postition, reducing damage taken, or flat out providing an out for your group to run away. I think the CDs are warranted, unforunately I also think you aren't going to be able to make a build of 6 super powerful long CD abilities like some people would like to, but CDs add that great feeling of epicness when you use them properly and completely turn a fight around.

    I think the big difference between the two is how much ground you are able to cover. Leap has an incredibly large ranged with weaker effects, whilst FC has a much shorter range with more potent effects. Which is better is really a matter of what you're going for.

    I think that there will be a ton of PvP content slowly added to the game as it progresses after release. I did read somewhere that they planned to only lauch with the slayer style arena until more balance had been established. I think that as long as the community asks for pvp enough, and there's enough outcry blizzard with give the customers what they want. I would love to see some CTF, and Last Man Standing arena personally.

    As interesting as it would be to see this put into Diablo I don't think it'll happen. Unfortunately for two reasons, the first being that Blizzard Dota is coming out soon-ish-seriously-no-wait-really. Secondly because I have a feeling even if it did manage to make it's way into Diablo it would be a ghetto strand of the ancients attempt at dota, that just wouldnt feel right. I would love to see it, but I remain doubtful. Sorry =(.

    I'm fairly certain that the witch doctor will be towards the top of the list for best class in pvp. With all of the kiting abilities + the massive number of pets with the damage output they could have coupled with sustained damage dots ect. Not to mention the passive that says after dying youre a spirit for 3 seconds, and then come back at 10% health, the thought of having someone fully dotted, dying, they die from your dots, and you come back, would be frustrating to say the least.

    My only concern with your build would be that it lacks burst. If the wizard is going to play the role of an oldschool frost mage (before it was spam IL profit), and be the snare / cc'er, then your role would be to line up the burst. I feel like the team youre planning on playing is going to be much closer to the destro lock / frost mage / druid or sham comp tho. Line up CC - burst - win. I would swap out entangling shot for some kind of a bigger nuke, and opt out for your wizard to run arcane orb and the passive that says arcane damage snares for x secs, imo.

    I'm pretty sure that some form of a support monk is going to be amazing in arena. I don't think the intent is heal people for 45 mins matches or anything, but if you've ever played a game like LoL, supports there cannot heal for much or all that often either, but still make a tide turning mark on the game. I think the same is going to be true with support / heal / aura monks, and possible disabler barb / tank kind of builds in the pvp enviornment.

    I totally agree with 2v2. It seems to promote the most synergy and cooperative play from people. Also I've always enjoyed it because its the easiest to just pick up and play with a bud. 2v2 no longer ranked in WoW was one of my biggest reasons for quitting it, aside from the horrible class balance in cata.

    I don't think that they are going to balance it perfectly. However with the massive outcry from the community for some kind of balance, I think they will try, but any form of esport tourneys are going to have preset gear ect you can pick from. With that said, I do hope they add an arena ladder or something ranked shortly after release in which you have flat stats, and your gear is just there for looks. Its a route many pvp games have went recently that also have a pve, and I think it would be a perfect place to do it here as well. Having gear not count in arena would be good, but allow gear in the "team deathmatch" pvp system they have atm.

    I think overall one of the most important things people seem to lack is survivibilty. Most of the builds I've seen are these really glass cannons one. Finding a good balance between both offense and defense is going to be your best bet. I would say having at least 1 - 2 defense CDs, and or a defensive passive as well.

    Personally I would love to see some kind of Recount. Not so much for the "I did more damage than you" but for when you want to go and test different moves, and see how much burst you can get in a window ect. But a raw DPS meter with no breakdown would promote pure damage characters in a "teamwork" game too much.

    Reguardless of how the runes work I think that they are going to keep them around. The idea of having a drop that you can pop into a spell, and then give that spell a "legendary" (rank 7) feel. They probably do need to do something to keep them from inflation, possibly soul bind them as like crimsom rune of leap permanently ect. But, I do still definately like the idea of finding those "legendary" abilties.
