I think people are going to be quite flustered when they hit a wall in Nightmare and have to say to themselves "OK... I keep dying... maybe I need to farm some items before I can continue on.."
Or maybe they'll just be the suckers paying exorbitant prices for my rares on the RMAH to try and blast through.. lol. Enjoy your world first I'll enjoy my $$.
I guess it takes about 1 month for the first to really finish inferno, with evidence.
And I also believe people will complain about its being to difficult.
oh dont worry bud. ill be uploading screen shots and videos of my inferno achievement.

most people yes. the veteran players who found D3 hell a joke? no, not even a little bit.
even if it takes me up to a month to beat i know that there will be people who beat it within the first week, the people who marathon 24/7 on release night and who are skilled and people will go "wtf hax" because they dont want to believe their precious diablo 3 is easily/quickly beaten based on skill alone.

I can't wait for the flood of tears that will come once all these speed rushing players get into nightmare and start getting their asses handed to them.
I'm gonna laugh when 2 weeks are up and he still hasn't been able to defeat Act1 Inferno lmao.... I hope Blizz reads these posts and makes Inferno even more stupid just to make people like this eat their words....

My tears will be tears of joy. I plan on beating Normal difficulty in the first day so if Nightmare is tough, I will be happy because now I got a challenge.

I don't always burn. But when I do, I use hellfire.

My only hope is that Blizzard doesn't cave on difficulty after these folks are crying for nerfs by Thursday.

we plan on playing 24 hrs first, 4hr sleep, then 20hr playing 4hrsleep rotation.

Thank you! Would love to see. I hope whoever being the first can give us some type of confirmation and proof.
Gonna be awesome when these people realize its going to take more than a few days to actually GET to inferno, let alone beat it...
thats why i didnt say i would beat it in a few days. i will beat it by june. roughly 2 weeks after release. i think itll only take about 3-5 days to get to inferno, then around a week or so to beat it.
That actually sounds reasonable assuming you're a power gamer (what I would call at least 5 hours per day) and a D2 vet. If 3 difficulties took me 25 hours and Inferno took me 35, that's 60 hours just for the full content and one character, not counting post-game farming and future PvP. Easily worth the price of admission plus the possibility of making some of it back on the RMAH.
Take into consideration that if you beat normal-hell to get to inferno that quickly, more than likely you will end up passing up many mobs, possible side quests, rares, and champions thus forfiting a large amount of experience. Not saying that quests wont be enough to get to level 60, but if missing alot of areas and not exploring sacrificed alot of experience and you beat hell difficulty and your only level 55-56, you will have to go back and farm since inferno mobs will more than likely shut you down if you havent reached the level cap yet. Enemy levels could begin to surpass yours by a good deal making further progression a long endevor.

The lvl of absurdity in this post is crazy. If you really think you're gonna be able to clear normal-hell in a day thats insane. the quickest you can kill skeleton king on a fresh character is roughly about 30 mins and thats assumed to be about 1/3 of the way through act1. Do i think normal can be beat in about 8 hours? Sure maybe. But nightmare and hell? Thats just insane. The worst part is you think inferno even has a shot of being beaten in 35 hours. Blizzard has said they have bets on how many MONTHS it will take people to beat inferno. Do i think itll take months no but come on.
Grammer is prolly shit but thinking you can clear Normal-Inferno in 60 hrs is blowing my mind.
I hope that Blizz watches for the 'first to beat it' and has a time since servers opened till game clear for each region. They should be able to do this just with acheivments right? maybe even post the top 10 players.
Anyway, good luck! (your gonna need it)

If that made sense to you, Bravo! I think I even confused myself...
“When we’re testing the highest difficulty level, we don’t force testers to level-up from scratch each time. Their chars receive randomized equipment of 0.5~1 lvl under the boss’s level. After 20 attempts the boss was still undefeated. We hope the most difficult bosses will be really, really hard to beat, as we know from experience never, NEVER underestimate our players. We set the difficulty based on how our most skilled staff felt to be adequate. Then we MULTIPLY THIS BY 2 upon release”
Seems really hard...
Also added another quote that some might have missed about inferno.
Yet more evidence that there is serious $ to be made in the RMAH.
The content will be gated by gear -> The person who acquires gear fastest will get the WF -> The fastest way to get gear is just to buy it -> the more desire there is to beat D3 early, the more $ there is to be made in the RMAH.
Someone asked in a thread last week "how much will 'The Best' piece of gear go for in the RMAH?" Estimate the two richest nerds motivated to get the WF inferno clear, and figure they'll be bidding against one another for it.

I grew up gaming without internet forums. The entire phenomenon of being upset with a game developer makes no sense to me. No sense. I cannot imagine spending my time and energy being upset about something I choose to do for recreation.
Thank you people need to see this and quit thinking everything is roflstomp easy. I know this is not WoW but i will use a WoW example. HC Rag from firelands took the best guild in the world 2 weeks to beat and over 500 attempts. Thats 2 weeks for ONE boss. We're talking about gearing toons up, beating 4 difficulties etc...

because even if it scales to the point of stupidity itll still be beatable with strategy and persistance when your very skilled

how is saying i plan to beat the game in a couple weeks a fact? lol. i think you just called it that, thanks for the compliment i have faith in me too

This reminded me of my math prof complaining about people using the phrase "give it 110%"
I wouldn't put it past someone to have this thing beat in two weeks. Lots of capable players out there.
