Go with Frenzy/maniac, you have WW for AoE and I'd consider replacing you passive ability Superstition with Relentless.
Reason I suggest this is because with Frenzy you might possibly get overwhelmed and if they bring you below 20% you'll become tanky with free WW. A tiny bit of life leech will pretty much make you unkillable during this.
Many of your opinions are mostly based on your ideal build... and thus don't take into consideration on how strong other skill/rune combinations could very well be quite effective.
And in all reality calling yourself an expert isn't probably the smartest thing to do, maybe saying you've studied the class thoroughly would be more accurate

I'm a Loremaster.. I do know the answers to everything. For example I know that your painfully anxious for the game to come out and that you dream about it at night.
I think most people are looking down on the DH because on paper the stats and skills show it as have less survivability. What people need to understand is that the survivability of a DH is in it's mobility, Vault/Smokescreen/"disengage shot" (w/e too lazy to find the actual name) these types of abilities will be all the survival abilities a good player will need to avoid dmg in Inferno mode while the less experienced players hit a brick wall because they lack the reflexs and/or knowledge of how to play the class.
As for co-op buffs... they have what I call the kiting buff.... it's a super cool debuff that they put on the monsters that make them chase the DH around senselessly while the other grp members casually spam random buttons while watching Ellen on their second monitor.
DH will be just as good as the rest of them... all classes have good buffs and the all have good dps, the only thing DH brings is a different play style, nothing more.
By "traps" I was referring to spells you cast and let to their own affairs... like the D2 traps were... but I agree, the DH has more what he is looking for.
Fury is gonna be the choice you'll want for bosses, Bash is more of a CC burst kinda skill... mostly used on those mobs that can burst you quickly.

I can't wait to be a Tribalesque Witch-doctor with my pretty angel wings LMAO. I must say that I'm somewhat disapointed that the dye isn't going to come in rainbow colors though
