Five years ago a computer game would not have cost that much on average, Kefka  It depends a great deal on the times: how much a majority of people are willing to pay for entertainment. If they aren't willing to sacrifice a certain amount of money (that could be better used on something else, relevant to the times), then the price will go down because sales go down. Otherwise it remains the same or goes up.
So, it is possible that we could see a drop in prices (possible being the key word). We had a massive gasoline price drop where I live because no one was buying gas for a long time. When they started to buy it again because of the lowered prices, it started to skyrocket once more.
It also depends on the release date. If it's not projected to come out for three or more years the price could drastically change. If we can expect it in less than that, then that current USD price is probably going to be spot-on. But that, however, hinges on the unknown variable of the release date, which people can only guess at no matter what conspiracy theories they throw out there.
So, in short, anything anyone says is a guess, educated or not, and that is the topic of this thread. Discussion of what the price may be.
I think the person you were quoting was refering to the release date post.

What does "q3" and "q4" mean in relation to a release date?
(And you know that your location says you live in "Canda", right?)
You do not know?
Q as in, Quarters, of a year. So Q1=first 3 months, etc.
And yes, the main question here is a bit silly, I'm affraid. Price are almost always the same for a full new game. Prices get lower for "smaller" games, and prices differ with expansions, but Diablo 3 is just that, a full game like all others that will price the same as others.
Hm. Nope, never knew that. I just call them "Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall".
The price is entirely dependent on the date it comes out. Prices will easily go up or down depending on how the economy goes, and right now the global economy is like shit boiling in a cauldron.
as with most games it will most likely be 49.99 or 59.99 usd... maybe a collectors edition with random bs somewhere in the range of 75-100 bucks as an option like with many games...
just like most new pc games

Unless I misread the OP, he/she is asking what we think the price range would be, not if we know an official price.
This....why would you think it would be anything other then this OP? lol

Go figure
Keep on watching G4 you'll learn a lot.
Used to be most games were about 40 on release, gone are those days :/.
