I went through the whole video and wrote down all the drops. Here they are:
throwing knife
short bow
minor energy rune
book of vitality I (i think)
gauntlets Gothic helm
Gothic plate
plate leggings
plated greaves (i think)
Gothic plate (i think)
chipped star topaz
________ leather greaves
scroll of identity
_______ quilted pants
quilted pants
ancient medallion (i think)
short staff
small bag
minor health potion (IMPORTANT)
scroll of identity
chest armor (maybe)
something purple (it looked like a great axe from Diablo II)
sash
________ quilted pants
scroll of identity
minor power rune
minor ________ rune
leather gloves
quilted pants
____ of willpower
amulet (this was rare/gold)
another purple thing
Where there was underscores was where I couldn't tell what it said. I used the bad resolution video from the diablo 3 site and it was VERY hard to see.
The minor health potion made me start thinking. They said that they were using the new globes to give you health instead of potions, but I just found one. Maybe potions are still used, but not as often.
Another thing that I noticed was that instead of just having armor there was now armor, shoulder pads, and leggings. Does this mean that the defense of your player will be greater because of all the items or about the same?
Oh and what happens when you die? Do you just respawn after losing money and exp or does something else happen?
the most interest thing for me is the purple items? what are those??
we all already know about bags, and i think ir remember reading poitions will still exist they will just be rare i guess. But are purples like WoW epics? if so i dont think i like that
@OP: Just watch the high-res trailer, you can clearly read the name of every item that drops. It has also been discussed before, and screenshots had been taken several times so you can do a forum search too.

I've never played WoW but my friend says that its like the best kind of that item or something.
No they are not. There's two higher tiers of rarity than that. 'Blue' items in D2 were actually intended to be a shade of purple but they turned out looking more blue due to the 8-bit colour palette restrictions. Either way, it's of no consequence to.... just about anything.
It's an "Elixir of Vitality I" and my guess is it gives you a regeneration over X seconds
edit
or maybe they're introducing max stats again like in D1?...
I just think that reintroducing the vitality, dexterity. strength items would be a good idea. Just think about the mess if people start duping items like in d1 and d2.
I think a Exlixir of Vitality 1 is a pot that you drink and get +x to Vit over some minutes. A temporary buff potion(those things are comon place in RPG's nowdays), not a permanent increase like D1.
i was just thinking about what happens after you die because with the boss fight at the end he rips the guys head off and stomps on the other guy who then flies off the map. i think this means that we wont be using the corpse thing again.

I think you're reset to a checkpoint rather than relying on a TP from someone or running back from a WP.
