That's actually an amazing lvl 49 bow. It has literally 450 more base dps than the currently maximum available at the AH for that level. You could price it at 1 mil and probably sell it to a rich guy leveling his alternate DH or even Wiz/WD (with that much base dps, it wouldn't matter). And he could probably use it up till late Hell.

Yeah, I always buy those kind of weapons for my alts as well. I once even bought an 830 dps staff for my WD for 280k and sold it after using it 'till 60 for about 1.5m. Those things are a gold mine.

    Hello,

I have the following items for sale:

Please feel free to offer, mostly interested in gold, but if someone is willing to pay real money, go for it.
In case you're offering real money, I will of course post it on the RMAH.

I'm on my AH limit, that doesn't mean I will accept the highest offer, if it's too low I probably will skip it. Although I am willing to accept offers below AH of course, it saves me the AH cut.

Well - Perhaps. But then also the legitimacy of his argument can come to question observing the lack of objective stating of facts. This is why i refer to usually not enter these discussions overall - Because people tend to so easily derive it to something else. But this one specific time i think the better of the discussion came out of it. I thank you for your time.

Well, when someone quotes and questions your observation you're bound to reply to that. But yeah, the discussion wasn't so bad.

The difference being that if you had 3 billion gold you could buy the best item in the game on the gold Auction house, and all the armor as well. And it is otherwise just redundant to actually have 3 billion, in contrast to have 40 million which does not even fetch you one of the highest items in regards to tiers.

Regardless of the case - I have not spoken as of the actual validness of the photo. By all probability, i think that in this case, the photo is a fake. Because playing Diablo 3, with having collected that much gold , without actually getting any gear serves to be a testament to redundancy if anything. And that is yet again just commenting of what is PROBABLE in this situation, regarding what the person feels about the game etc.

And i don't think anyone should take authority to go "This IS fake" or "this IS real" - We can only speak of probability, but as right now is, all odds are saying it's a fake.

That's true, but you don't know what the intention is of other people. I myself don't mind not getting any upgrades, I can farm Act 2, which I like the most, just fine. I don't need better gear to be able to do it faster. So, I just play the AH a bit, do a few runs, and just keep piling up the gold. The more gold you have, the more you can make. Especially with the 10 auction limit. Maybe he's piling up the gold to make gold faster and then put 50-75% of his capital on the RMAH.

And yes, the photo is most likely fake (like I said in my previous post), I just think Zekaz posted that it's fake for the wrong reasons, I explained in the paragraph above why I think that.

That guy has 3 billion gold. How much do I trust that photo wasn't photoshopped?

Granted, I don't have 3 billion gold either. But it isn't that hard to get. 4-5 lucky rolls on items and you're good to go.

He should probably have a weapon worth more than 10mil, then. My bullshit meter is in the red.

-edit- 4-5 items for 3 billion gold? 500 million per item? NP, NP. Those drop all the time.

I wasn't talking about that guy in particular, just about the fact that 3 billion isn't the end of the world.
Can you quote me where I said that they drop all the time? Exactly. You can't. Some weapons are even worth more than 500m, they're of course even rarer, but it could happen to anyone, no matter how dumb they are.

Can you quote me where I said you were implying they dropped all the time? Let me know when you find 5 items totaling 3 billion in worth, and we'll talk.

My point stands: the photo is a fake.

I cannot quote it, because it isn't there. And even if I could quote that, you're one of those people who I talked about in my previous past, the last part of the last sentence. There's a good chance the photo is fake, you believe it is fake for the complete wrong reason though. Yes, he has 3 billion in that photo, yes he has a weapon worth 8-20m, that doesn't make it fake. I have weapons worth 2m as well, while having 40m in my stash. Does that make my life one big photoshop?

TBH, i'm just stashing my unIDs and hoping this'll be patched, and then sell them after. If they don't patch it then oh well i'll just ID them and go on. And imo if you're able to sell any unID for over 100k i'd say it is still profit because of the odds of a rare to be worth 100k on the AH make me feel like you're getting a great bargain. Just my opinion, could be completely wrong.

Even if it does get patched who will take the chance. The scammers likely have stashes of rares that they have preidentified waiting to unload them after this gets "patched". There is no way i will ever buy an "unid" item.

Unless, like someone suggested, Blizzard resets all unID'd items, although that would give a lot of exploiters another chance to roll good items, it would fix the problem forever, or at least until they find another leak.

Which is why the glass cannon gear is so incredibly expensive.
High Dex gear is expensive, but it's still way cheaper than items with high Dex, some Vit and some AR. And the same with high Dex + CHC + CHD gear - it's expensive, but it's nowhere near the high Dex + CHC + CHD + Vit / AR gear. That's what I meant there.

Ah ok, I myself don't really play that often on my DH, few act 2 runs once in a while, nothing more. Always thought glass cannon was more expensive, but I was wrong.

I'm waiting for an official answer from Blizzard before I go into hysterics over something that may or may not be duping. I can assume that if there actually was some duping going on, Blizzard is going to be all over it, find out how it's done, and deal with it, and we'll get some sort of announcement from them soon enough. If you're really that concerned about it, don't use the AH until Blizz confirms or denies that it was in fact duping.

Why would you stop going to the AH? They're not going to delete duped items you have bought from the AH. And if they actually are crazy enough to do that (which I doubt), they'll give you your gold/€ back.

It's very wise what Rickarus says actually. Remember: both the GAH and the RMAH are at own personal risk, if anything you bought doesn't show up, or should you sell anything and the gold/$$ should never arrive, you're on your own. Customer service is currently UNABLE (AUTOBOT2000: HERRO CANNITAKE ORDER PREASE?! NO SRYYYY I CANNOT HELP U OK? PRS FLL IN FORM SO I CAN HAS RAISE KK? HAVE NICE DAY NOW) to reimburse lost items/gold/currency.

What they can do however, is roll your account back, but only if you've been compromised beforehand. Cute isn't it?

So, i pray to god they delete all duped items, if they are in fact duped. Any company who feels itself so high and mighty that they think they could ever implement a GAH and a RMAH without any form of customer service safety net implemented deserves to burn it's ass royally. In my opinion :>.

I've never had that happen to me, not getting my gold/items that I've sold/bought. So I wouldn't know. That sure sounds like Blizzard though, blaming everything on the customer and after that asking to fill in a form ;p

Option 1 might be the least gear dependent, but it sure is the most expensive one.
Maybe what I wrote there was a bit misleading - by "balance" I don't mean those gear setups where you sacrifice a lot of DPS for survivability. For me "balance" is high DPS AND survivability. That surely costs a lot more than building a pure DPS char, i.e. glass cannon.

The problem at the moment is, almost every streamer has been playing a glass cannon Demon Hunter, so most people who don't know much about the game or just aren't very good at the game, will think that is the best build. Which is why the glass cannon gear is so incredibly expensive. Luckily that is slowly changing though, since more and more people are switching to a build where they can survive a lot better.

-Buy a Helm of Command with STR/VIT/Socket, that's only 1m in EU, probably 600k in US. If you have a lot more gold to spend than that: also get AR on that Helm, I'm not sure if Helm of Command can get crit, might want to check that.

-Swap out superstition, with that amount of resist, you can easily drop it and pick up Ruthless for a 1.5k-2k dps boost.

-I'm not 100% sure if you can afford it to drop Leap, but you should really try picking up Battle Rage with the Marauder Rune, that + Ruthless will easily get you to 26-30k dps. If you pay attention to your surroundings, leap should not be needed.

So I've been busy working on my defensive stats up to the point where I cant viably increase them any further, my dps has suffered a lot though and it's down to 17k and I'm going to try to get the most out of it while still looking for ways to get it to 25-30k at least somehow, probably by getting a crit dmg weapon or something like that.

Anyhow what variation of this build do you think does the most dps by means of more casts or higher % modifiers? I'm using the same spec as when i started a few weeks ago : http://us.battle.net...XROY!agW!aZabcY
I'm finding it useful in almost all situations but I find it hard sometimes to keep dps up vs fast or packs that kite you.

Anyhow here's my stats any insight would be helpful <snip>

Can't see your movement speed. In case you don't have movement speed on your boots: get +12%, it is incredible and not that expensive.
