    Quote from wambalance

Yea, yea. Well some of us actually have real jobs and don't dedicate our lives to video games... So when I do play, I don't wanna waste time on the respawn screen. And I understand I didn't pay Blizzard for the item and they only got a % cut from it. The fact is items that are bought with real currency need to retain stat value. And to Mr. HoobaGoblin and Slayerviper - I did read forums bud. Never did I see a 50% nerf announced. I was expecting more of a cap/deminishing returns on % attack speed. Regardless if it was a $250 item or a 10$ item, item changes should have been performed WAY before any real money auctions were implimented.

and a cap / diminishing returns would have equated out to the same loss. gg

I am going to have to say that I am pretty pissed at this point. I bought an item off the auction house for $250. It was an amulet that has 15% Attack speed increased and is a set item. (blackthorne medal). One of the main reasons this was worth so much was due to the attack speed benefit from the item. Now that the attack speed on the item that i just bought decresed from 15% to 7% (what blizzard says is a 50% reduction) I want 50% of my money back! This is a scam and a great way for blizzard to make money. Lets buff items (which makes them expensive) so people buy them (Blizzard make some money), and then next patch we'll just nerf them -- repeat. Blizzard, if you are going to come up with genious idea of real money auction house, those items need to keep their worth. I purchased an item that was worth $250, and just because of a patch, I get screwed. This is not right and something needs to be done. Maybe I didn't follow the patch preview closely enough, but the last time I saw an update it was still up for debate for how the attack speed increase bonus would be handled. If items are going to go to crap, just say so Blizzard!

So IAS got nerfed throughout the game, on everything but quivers. But IAS is still as valuable for DPS as it was. The amulet you bought is just as good post nerf as it was prenerf because all 15% IAS got nerfed down to (i think) 7%. I can see why you would be upset, but if you sit back and think about it the item is just as good as it was. Also, the IAS nerf has been said it was incoming for longer than the RMAH has been available. Its no ones fault but your own for buying it and not knowing about the IAS nerf. And anyways, if you have the disposable income to waste 250 dollars on a virtual item then I am sure the money doesn't matter to you.

Yeah, Blizzard mods can't take criticism and are banning people for ridiculous stuff. I got a 7 days ban for telling them they should fire those technicians who couldn't prepare D3 for the launch. No bad words used.
I wanna see him try to ban me when I'm standing next to him. Power abusing bastards.

Oh you e-thug you. Big tough man. Thing is that people like you talk big when you hide behind the internet's anonymity.

Funny thing is that your opinion on firing their technicians only goes to prove how stupid you are. I doubt you have ever tried to launch a game expecting 5 million + log ons on day 1. Hell I doubt you even work in a technical field at all. Warehouse work is what I would guess.

I certainly have not tried to launch a game with 5mil+ trying to log in on day 1. Thing is. BLIZZARD HAS.
Idiot. Go spread your fanboyism disease somewhere elsewhere.

There is a difference between being a fanboy and being a realist. You obviously have no clue about any of the technical issues that they faced at launch yet you think its okay that you post that these people should be fired. And you call me an idiot? And, as far as calling me a fanboy, Diablo 3 is not important enough for me to demand people being fired because I couldn't play on day one, so as far as fanboy goes thats kinda the pot calling the kettle black huh? You are just another pathetic loser ont he interwebz crying because you couldn't play your precious game that obviously is all you have in life. Go outside, get some sunlight, meet a girl, see if she will show you her tits, hell maybe get laid. There is more to life than videogames toughguy.

You're making so many assumptions, and taking everything I type about Blizzard personally. You employee of Blizzard?
I think if we compare your posts vs mine it will be obvious who's the loser here. Grow up, kid.

I'm taking it personally? How exactly do you figure that into anything I have said? I am just tired of people who have no idea what they are talking about talking shit. As to who has no life, again, I am not the loser flaming a videogame company because I couldn't play my precious new game on day 1 without server lag and bugs. If that upsets you so bad, again, you need to take a step back and look at your pitiful existence.

The post tat got me banned and thread deleted.

GW2 has zero downtime. Yeah a MMO with $%@#$# ZERO downtime. Ingame players will receive a notification saying "New build available. Please restart." THATS IT. No waiting countless hours to get some crappy hotfixes or new patch.

An action game needs 10 hrs maintenance? What a sick joke.

Sorry blizzard you are no longer the epitome of making great games. You were 8 years ago and you just stopped there. Its time to do away with this maintenance bull!@#$. Its 2012. You will be the joke of the industry if nothing is going to change for the next few years. Year 2015, 8-10 hours weekly maintenance? That will be a nice laugh.

Anet is the real modern game developer. Tell yr CEO and his puppies to make a studio tour of Anet and learn some professional %^-*. Bring your little notebook with you.

What obscenity? I think i just hit their nerve. Last time i ever buy any blizzard product.

Hiding obscenities behind *&%&#*(^$%#&^#* is still an obscenity none the less. I think if a GAME is so important to you that you feel the need to make childish immature posts like that you need to take a step back and re-evaluate your obviously pathetic existence. Too bad the ban doesn't go over to the game as well.

Or you could read the patch notes instead of skimming

Unique monsters in Hell and Inferno difficulty are no longer guaranteed to drop two Magic items when slain

I could have sworn that Blizzard said recently they wanted to buff the other demon hunter abilities to make them more attractive. This was disappointing, but not really surprising. I mean, seriously; what Demon Hunter DIDN'T use this ability as their main nuke.

    Back to Freezing Arrow maybe..?
yeah but this isnt the balance patch 1.1 is. So basically we take it up the ass right now and get nothing back and have to wait untill next patch to be viable again.

I bug fix to tentacle makes DH unviable? Whut?

posted a message on Barb vs Monk - on Act3 farming
    Quote from joms

I'm a wiz and everytime i fight an elite in a very narrow space, I always die no matter what. (like in entrance of caverns of frost).

In this regard, I am having my friend roll a melee class to make our farming faster. He stays in front and i pewpew from behind.

Which do you think would be a better class in farming Act3-Siegebreaker and beyond. (Also act4 if need be). Let's say both barb and monk will be decently geared having a 1k weapon and such.
Should I make him roll a monk or a barb?

    Thanks.

You shouldn't "make" him roll anything. You should allow him to play what he wants. Just because you are bad and can't farm solo means you have the right to force someone else to play something to make it easier on you? wtf?

I got multiple IAS items i my farming today including both blue and yellow gloves, a yellow amulet and 2 blue rings. Modification generation on items is RNG, just because YOU haven't gotten a certain modification in a while doesn't mean it is gone. If that were the case then hatred regen on quivers, capes, and 1 handed xbows must also have been removed because I haven't gotten any of that in a long time.

    Quote from RockmanDoom

    So my current stats are

    23k - Life
    3338 - Armor
    Physical Resist - 480
    All Resist - 203

I get one shotted by anything really, melee or otherwise.

My question is for any Demon Hunters out there that are not getting totally pwned by everthing in inferno, if you could list your stats as I have above so I know what numbers I need to work towards.

    Thanks!

With 23k life and such low armor/resists everything in Act 2 is one shotting you as well. Act three mobs just live long enough to reach you and make you blow through your discipline.

I started going at the gym 3-4 months ago and yup, i got those muscles and girls look at me...

Speaking from experience as a person who goes to gym atleast 3 times a week, it takes much longer than 3-4 months to get clearly visable muscles.

No it doesn't. Just depends on how hard you wanna work for it.
