    So much rage in this thread, CE's aren't that rare really.
    For the people who pre-ordered multiple copies, well good for you for having some business sense.
    I just want a copy to play and enjoy.
    Aussies, jbhifi and ebgames are still offering pre-orders. To the other people internationally, if us Aussies with our HORRIBLE games market can get copies still, surely you can find somewhere that does too, good luck.

    It could be tyraels sword.

    I believe the "Sword of Justice" comic series touches on that topic and that someone named Jacob has it. It would also be odd if Tyrael had his sword back at the start of Diablo 3 when the comic (which I believe is considered canonical) says otherwise.

    *Shrugs*

    Didn't he throw his sword into the worldstone, wouldn't that have shattered/lost it, let alone him having it and then it breaking when plummeting down to earth as a "meteor"?

    what is better for MFing?

    i guess this depends on the killing speed mostly.
    So how much stronger do monsters get when there are 4 people in one game?
    Monsters gain +75% hp when each player joins, not sure if they gain any extra damage though. This should mean playing 4 players with equally geared/dps and skilled players is a lot easier than solo'ing.
    Edit: Followers help, but really don't do much damage

    Yea- lots of good discussion in this thread.

    It'll be interesting to see what will be viable as far as skill types: what I mean by this is some people have 4 damaging attacks while others have 2 or 3 and use the rest as defense/utility.

    For example: the previous post uses an armor spell, the pet familiar and the magic weapon along with magic missile, wave of force and disintegrate/meteor(depending on which one you look at).

    Where as my build is looking toward 4 damaging skills(Electrocute, Disintegrate, Explos Blast and Arc Orb) with 2 defensive/utility (D Skin and Tele).
    http://us.battle.net...hcXQ!YXU!abZcaZ

    What are yall's thought on this? Number of damaging attacks vs. Number of def/utility skills

    I guess it comes down to personal preferencies. You must have both damaging and defensive skills obviously. In my opinion, if you kill faster, you need less defensive skills but that's just my playstyle. I guess one can like to play more defensively and take 4 defensive skills.

    As for your second build Rozby, I guess you'll struggle with AP for your Comet. You should consider the Prodigy passive and Attunement rune on Magic Missile. Even Seeker rune may be nice. Cold blood may be a better choice than Glass Canon as it increases the damage of your Comet by 20% whithout downside.

    Thanks for the input Perma, I was hoping Astral Presence would compensate for the AP side of things from Meteor, and the fact that Comet lasts for awhile meaning I won't need to spam it, maybe Meteor Shower would be smarter as it lasts longer once again.
    Come to think of it, merely using AO 3 times taxed my AP pool, so maybe something more along the lines of, taking Cold Blooded and using Ray of Frost with 0 AP use for single target, and changing the rune on Meteor to Star Pact, or possibly considering Energy twister

    Seems like some good feedback in this thread, I thinking of running a fairly fast paced hit and run build, swapping out Disintegrate for Ray of Frost on bosses. I know I'm going to get hit sometimes, and will likely need to swap sparkflint familiar out for diamond skin teleport or frost nova when I reach inferno, but will see how this goes:

    The camera distance is too low. Besides that, four players will be fine. Was there potential for something more? Yeah probably, but oh well.

    I agree with the camera distance, really would have liked a zoom in and out via mouse wheel function, it's really not that hard to implement. Yes you can press Z to snap zoom in, but there isn't varying degree's of zoom and you can't zoom in enough with Z to fully appreciate the details in the armor/weapons you have, which is a simple function that should have been left in.

    Spray of teeth seems rather mediocre if you ask me. Hungering Arrow is an amazing single target generator, so Idk why you would try to turn it into a mediocre aoe.

    2 generators in one build seems redundant as well.

    Couple of slight adjustments: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aRYdSl!YeT!YZZZYc
    Archey >>>>> Cull the weak, you may want to stack Archery with cull the weak, but never take CtW over Archery.
    Elemental arrow + frost arrow for better utility

    Blizzactivision only think of us when they consider where they can increase the StarCraft 2 player pool, or when they want to charge an extra 30% for games.

    posted a message on How to Chat with Colors & Icons
    Quote from Murray1

    Hey folks, I found this cool trick where you can change your text and add built-in icons to your text in the D3 beta. Here's how:
    For different colors, you can do standard colors such as

    {c_red}This is my red text{/c}
    {c_blue}This is my blue text{/c}
    {c_green}This is my green text{/c}

    You can also use hex:

    {c:FF000000}This is my black text{/c}
    {c:FFFF8C00}This is my orange text{/c}

    You can also use the colors of the item types and other text:
    {c_magic}text{/c_magic}
    {c_inferior}text{/c_inferior}
    {c_rare}text{/c_rare} {c_epic}text{/c_epic} {c_legendary}text{/c_legendary}{c_questlog}text{/c_questlog}{c_whisper}text{/c_whisper}{c_bonus}text{/c_bonus}

    There are also some icons you can display:

    {icon:lmb}
    {icon:rmb}
    {icon:bullet}
    {icon:audio}
    {icon:platinum}
    {icon:gold}

    http://d3guyz.com/?q=node/1415

    Additionally, you can chat with a different or smaller font size:

    {f_alpha_tiny}This is smaller text{/f_alpha_tiny}

    Have a try! It’s full of fun!

    Thanks for the info :)

    I figure with my build, i'll be spamming more entangling before the cluster, I do like how you've gone life leech with the elemental, so maybe I'll change from bat to boar companion and go your route.

    Not sure why everyone is going wolf companion, I understand it does double the damage of most other companions, but it could disappear at really inopportune times. I guess you'd probably be a bit more of a micro'er than me :)

    Ya that makes sense, entangling is great. Ya life leech is actually what ended up appealing to me a lot about that skill, it took care of the necessary defensive role of life gain that I hadn't filled well enough.

    For me I went with the wolf because for my build I won't be using vault too often, mostly only when necessary or sometimes to move around (out of combat - backtracking to stairs, that sort of thing,) hence the decreased cost on successive vaults. So ideally I will try to always have enough discipline to cast wolves if they ever run out while I'm in a tight spot. I'd like to be below 10 disc in combat situations as rarely as possible. We'll have to see how this plays out, I've definitely considered other pet types, or perhaps even the sentry, for that we'll really have to see how it plays out.

    I was toying with what you said regarding sentry, how about something like this:

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#fRSkXV!UeT!bcbYcb

    Hatred generator is also capable of hitting 3 targets, spammable but not really AOE, but then sentry and spike traps come into play for aoe, along with smoke screen leaving aoe around? Though it's going to chew up your disc pretty quickly so I'd be taking prepartion along with battle scars for a heal?

    The change to multishot actually made me not want to play this class anymore, I was looking forward to multishot as my main aoe attack, but now its not really spammable, and in my opinion she doesn't have any good spammable AoE spells, or they have special mechanics for their AoE - such as Bola shot or Chakram.. and I'm not particularly interested in dealing with special mechanics on AoE skills (*cough* blessed hammer *cough*) so yea, guess I'll be trying out a new class at the start. =(

    http://us.battle.net...cldT!beT!aYacbc

    That was my planned build, there's just nothing that really takes the place of multshot. =\ I'm open to suggestions though.

    Edit: I guess you didn't list the unofficial changes, the specific change I'm refering to is:

    Multishot: Now costs 40 Hatred, up from 15 an deals 165% weapon damage, up from 115%
    Altered your build to make it more viable since changes, you should still consider DH

    http://us.battle.net...clXT!YeT!cbccbZ

    Another strong AoE is Elemental Arrow, it's cheap enough to be fairly spammable. It doesn't really have a special mechanic, apart from shooting in a straight line through enemies rather than spreading out straight away. Also it can be runed to have a variety of effects.

    Ya elemental arrow is more along the lines of what I was thinking about. Cluster arrow is even less spammable than multishot. I need something on my right click that I can use often, more often than entangling shot if I can pull it off. Multishot might still be viable with the hatred cost reduction, but I don't know.

    Elemental arrow does seem like an interesting replacement, it was fun to use when it was in the beta, and could directly replace multishot.

    http://us.battle.net...cldT!beT!acacbc

    That is an interesting build, I wonder what the damage type of nether tentacles is. If it is still fire I'll have to change the rune skill for rapid fire to have two different damage types, but that's ok with me. Things are looking up.

    I figure with my build, i'll be spamming more entangling before the cluster, I do like how you've gone life leech with the elemental, so maybe I'll change from bat to boar companion and go your route.

    Seems like a build that involves a shield. The reason Barbarians have so many knockback / stun / movement abilities is that they're not supposed to be constantly taking damage unless they're spec'd for it. If you're planning on getting hit a lot, I guess you could go with something more like this: http://us.battle.net...gijk!cVg!acbaZc

    Maybe throw Inspiring Presence in there somewhere.

    I'm thinking something more along the lines of this http://us.battle.net...Vgik!cZg!accbac since the newest patch, as you're going to need life leech, and Tough as nails got the nerfbat (I'm sure it's still good, but maybe not great)

    Or maybe : http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WQXgik!cZg!ZcYbac
