posted a message on Moonlight ward reroll and stuff
    Hey all,

I just had another moonlight ward drop which is potentially much better after enchants then my current one, the question is what should i re-roll and to what.

    Moonlight Ward:
    Arcane 24%
    AS 7%
    Crit 8%
    Socket

Battle.net profile, with Templar, and i play 99% solo. I don't really want to change my skill layout or anything as i really am enjoying the gameplay of chaos nexus. (always have). Looking to use Bane of the Powerful as my next legendary gem.

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/kothor-1624/hero/818655

Also I know that rare ring is there, tell the RNG gods to drop me a half descent legendary cause every single one that drops is worse....

I am also looking for a better RoRG and i have a few in the bank to re-enchant also as my current one was just better then my old one after re-rolling the socket..

Another question while I am at it would be should i drop AS in favor of other stats? I can see it working for AP consumption but its not at a bad place right now.

    Thanks,

    Kothor

edit: forgot to put the moonlight ward stats in there.

as for damage type it plainly has the type over tooltip information (there is even a colour border to help).

posted a message on Disintegrate = Disintegrate Wave?
as a user of that wand i have found that archon can just outperform disintegrate in the right circumstances. Especially when out or really low on AP and there are alot of trash nearby. so far i have hit 2.6 million sheet dps with archon up. Kind of like my little game see how high it gets after i pop archon.

posted a message on scoundrel and burzia in RoS
I just got a level 70 burzia to drop and i have had two rings that have dropped with dex that aren't bad as well and was wondering if running the scoundrel with the burzia with cold blooded was still worth it in RoS.

I have room in my build to swap out temporal flux for it so from that stand point i wouldnt mind but not sure if its worth it bla bla bla.

    Thanks for you thoughts all!

posted a message on The Future of Diablo 3
Because there is one very precious resource that cannot be added to : time.

A lot of development at Blizzard has been shown to be iteration based. They try something, see if it works, takes whats good or chuck it if it doesn't. All this takes time. As with many projects this large just throwing money and people at it doesn't necessarily make it happen faster. Just look at many government or government agencies. Add more people and invariably stuff actually slows down, as eventually there are just to many heads in the room.

Also note that this game sold 12 million + copies. There is no way whatsoever that everyone is going to be pleased with every decision. Just look at all the D3 vs PoE threads for that. Hell just look at all the bitching for wow, SC2 and hearthstone. Yelling at blizzard seems to be a pastime to people. Not to mention that a change can get praise from some people and hate from others.

    On topic of the OP:

At the end of the day Blizzard seems to have decided that D3 is going to be a very open, easy to understand game that is very accessible. That means stripping away a lot of the barriers that new players have to enter the genre. Talking to a lot of my friends (and some where and are die hard D2 players) I keep having to tell them its OK not to like this version if something like PoE is what they are looking for. It doesn't make D3 bad it just makes D3 different and to fill a different niche in the gaming world 12+ years after d2. Cause lets be honest most games were "better" back then.

    Hey all,

Is anyone else getting weird loot issues where wands, sources and wiz hats are locked out of use. Like I haven't found one i actually want to use but they have level req of 60 but it has the lock on the gear and when i try and equip it the game tells me I am the wrong level.

indeed it did have one but wasnt it just like the weekend before relase to stress test the servers? And wasnt that done artificially on the PTR/Beta servers when the PTR launched?

Hey all I am playing self found and just got two huge drops this morning (the tal neck and the witching hour belt) and I am looking for advice on which of the crafted archon pieces I should be shooting for an upgrade.

posted a message on New reflect damage
Hey wizards on the PTR. I am just wondering how RD is working on the PTR right now in terms of needing life steal on our weapons.

I run archon and am wondering if the return damage is higher or lower then now. I normally don't care but I don't like switching weapons in my speed runs and I have enough life steal to not care but I run blood magic and have a LS weapon compared to Force Weapon and my non LS weapon.

As it stands if i go full dps I can burn 1 at a time and not care about the reflect (damaged but easily regained from either a potion or globes). If I catch all 3 in the archon beam I need the Life steal or I melt myself (with life steal build, my life stays exactly neutral - other damaging abilities).

So if anyone can give me a heads up from the PTR that would be awesome.

posted a message on Banned in Diablo 3
My main suggestion will be to actually call them (especially if they have a toll free in your region). Tickets just take a while to be processed and getting them on the phone is normally faster.

Be polite, patient and if it is a false positive it will get fixed. Mention the tickets and just have all your information with you.

posted a message on Blizzard is a joke...
I always love coming into these topics and reading the various hate leveled at D3. I think the points have been said at least a billion (I wonder if anyone ever tallied all the complaints on diablofans alone) times.

There is one thing that needs to change. Battle.net 2.0. Its a problem in starcraft and its a bigger problem in D3. They really need to overhaul some of the major pieces of functionality to give the game the life you guys (the haters) are all talking about. I am well aware the general game experience could be better and frankly it damn well could be but its far from the abysmal failure that everyone says it is.

However, add in dueling for now and FIX battle.net and suddenly we have a game where we can truly communicate. A game where we can open a list of games and see mp10 playthrough next to mp1 act 3 farm run next to mp5 Ubers. A place where we can actually talk to each other IN GAME and get things done without being limited by the 99 player limit stupidity.

If there was one critical success of D2, it was that battle.net was so good for its time (and bnet2.0 is so bad for its time).

More fun stuff will come, they are clearly adding it and as much as we wish it, there isnt a magic wand to game development and it is not an instant process. Time is what this game needs (insert all the stuff about them learning from LOD and applying it) for the PvE and PvP content. What we need is Battle.net that works not one that functions.

patch 1.6 was supposed to be for behind the scenes stuff, here is hoping its some set up on the server for more bnet features.

*note: The reason i said the critical success of d2 is the b.net is because look at what all games took from it, not just the diablo series or arpgs. Involving the community in games have always made a game more successful and the blueprint that people used for a very very long time was b.net. The next best things are forums and frankly we have those... *looks around*
