What's up people?! As some of you might know, I like playing Battlefield 3. I've recorded and edited my first couple of videos EVER, so for those who are interested don't expect any mad editing skillz. Go check it out on my youtube channel. Is anybody else getting huge lag spikes since 1.0.3a or is it my internet connection?
BTW, I miss status updates, they were perfect for this kind of questions.
You can do status updates, but there's not a central place to view everybody's status updates...which is really crappy. I enjoyed commenting on what was on people's minds, but meh. When can ask one of the mods to try and get it implemented!
last time i was angry with games was back in the NES SEGA days, cos the games were hard but enjoyable
but the game is not enjoyable when its flawed big time.
i also have lost all respect for blizz and ive been plying their games for many years.
the warcraft team i respect and the old Diablo team, hiring jay wilson was a mistake.

Lol dude, I'm feeling the same tbh. I haven't played D3 in a couple of days, even with my barb in Nightmare only. It's just so boring playing through the same static environment all the time...the random events just aren't cutting it for me. Maybe a little hiatus will solve it.
Finally finished monk in normal mode, he was a hot knife going through demon butter. Now on to my final character in normal mode, the wizard. :Thumbs Up:

My wife needs to find a hobby, she called me at work yesterday all distraught (I might add her voice carries) before I could say anything she starts in "I just saw a man who let his dog shit in our front yard! I'm going to call the HOA and report him... I then interjected her and informed her I was in a staff meeting. In a lower tone she asked "OMG did they hear me?" Looking at a room of my peers all about to bust out laughing I replied, yes everyone here knows a dog just shit in our yard, love you have to go.
Lol! It's also nice to see your meetings to be quite informal (or am I wrong?). I'll probably hate any serious work environments, personally I think it'll bring down my motivation to work and I'll always have to be on my toes about what comes out of my mouth!
Barbarian is more fun than monk, coming from a guy playing monk as main >.<
Mmm, it's a tough one for me. The monk is also my main character (Act 1 Inferno), while my bard is level 38 in Act 2 Nightmare. I just like the power that I feel when I play the barb (2-handed power shot explosions ftw). The monk has a lot more survivability which I like. I'll give my true verdict once my barb is level 60 as well. :Thumbs Up:
Damn, I bid on a fist weapon for my Monk: 750DPS, 138DEX, 50VIT, a socked and some other one. The bid began on like 50k and escalated to like 140k last night. I had to go to bed with like 13hours left to bid. So I set my alarm (yes my sleeping pattern is fucked up and I can easily sleep 15 hours). So I log into the game and the AH is offline...BLEH. Now I'm probably not gonna get that item and that sucks...cause all the other 750+ DPS fist weapons went for over 1mil.
Fuck. Hope your Diablo 3 playing will help with your recovery (if there is any)! As Daemaro said, it explains your absence in the URT and your necro Religion Thread. Hopefully your humour, intellect and wit didn't diminish during those 6 months! :Thumbs Up:
All I can say is you have to play the game yourself; different people have different opinions. Overall the game is good, addictive and really fun. Personally I think Blizz fucked up a bit, but it's something you'll understand laaaaaaaaater in the game (Level 60 and onwards).
You can buy all your stuff on the AH and have the best possible gear which take away many hours of fun farming for your own gear. Yes you can choose not to use the AH, but with it snickering at you while you get your ass handed to you in Inferno, you tend to take the shortcut and buy some stuff.
And don't forget to get an authenticator; a mobile or physical one. Many people's accounts has been hacked!
Another thing is the static outline of the environment...it sucks, with your 3de or 4th playthrough, you know the outline and exits by heart. BUT the random dungeons and events kinda make up for it. As I said you have to get first hand experience to really know!
Hope your recovery will be smooth sailing from here on out!
It's super fun to play with the Barbarian! I'm going 2-handed cause that's just the way the Barbarian should be played! Don't you think that War Cry and Battlerage just go together so well?! One buff your armor, the other your damage. War Cry generates 30 fury when activated and Battlerage uses 20 fury. War Cry has a cooldown of 30 seconds and Battlerage lasts 30 seconds. So every time you go into battle you just use War Cry and then Battlerage.Match made in heaven!
Pyrrhic, I just want to let you know: that was the best thing I have read in a long long time. In fact, I enjoyed reading your theories so much, that I now fear being disappointed by the actual outcome of it all.

I've watched RSA vs ENG rugby at one of our pubs, had a couple of drinks and a nice burger! Now I'm in front of the pc again...such a nerd.
