Burn Notice is a great show, as the seasons go on it just gets better and better.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. Breaking Bad, seriously you have to watch that shit, it is so awesome. Best T.v. show I've ever seen. After watching it you will never be able to watch Malcolm in the middle the same way again.
Also a great movie, Blazing Saddles, It's a comedy. Bloody hilarious. Super 8 is also a very well done movie, don't be put off by the fact that most of the main characters are kids, it's actually a really good movie.

You can never go wrong with the old Twilight Zone episodes, I'm a sucker for those. The last series I got into (other than Law and Order) was the last remake of Battle Star Galactica.
I really think True blood is for girls... really any vampire crap approach in modern entertainment is just sissy.
Like Proletaria said, TV is garbage, there is a reason I haven't ever paid for TV in my life (I do know because my wife demanded it so she can watch her stuff ) The fact that firefly was cancelled yet so much shit out there keeps getting air time makes no sense.

@ Azriel, I don't think I can help you, I mainly just watch comedy and cartoons for TV due to the garbage TV concept and unless you identify some sort of genre I can't list any movies off the top of my head, i.e. I know a lot of good documentaries but you might not be interested in such a thing.

You can do status updates, but there's not a central place to view everybody's status updates...which is really crappy. I enjoyed commenting on what was on people's minds, but meh. When can ask one of the mods to try and get it implemented!
Real Life skill system is terrible! you can only add skills by developing technologies and those take literally decades (at best) to get completed! and then you have to pay to get them!!!

Some skills just come from reading and practice and exercise.
RPGs always crack me up, because in most you can only advance by killing things. If you are learning fire magic, is killing things really better practice than just shooting a wall or something? LOL

yeah but only low level skills, the game is a mess, the economy is convoluted and ruined, the classes are terribly balanced and the physics engine has a bug that won't let you travel very long distances in a single session... the only good thing is the graphics, eye candy, that's all
