Necromancers and Trag'Oul:
- So from what we know they work to maintain the balance between Good and Evil. They do not take any particular side.
- Mendeln (Kalan in Trag'Oul's tongue) was the very first Necromancer, trained by Rathma and Trag'Oul themselves.
- At the end of the Sin War, Mendeln was instructed to head to the jungles of Kehjistan to gather followers who would then be known as the Priests of Rathma, or Necromancers as we know them.
- At the end of the conflict, Trag'Oul vanished. Nowhere to be seen, contacted, or heard.
- From what we know Necromancers draw their powers from Trag'Oul as he is the focal point of the Balance. Therefore he must still exist in some way.
- Trag'Oul has only ever physically existed for a few seconds, and that was only long enough for Rathma to learn of the Balance, how Sanctuary was created, and the Worldstone. Each other time that Trag'Oul has been present, he has taken the form of a cellestial dragon that resembles a constellation of stars.
If Trag'Oul was to come back in his physical form, or even his celestial form it would be a very significant event. It may even increase the power of the Necromancers, assuming their power works off his level of presence. But that's just speculation.
Many have brought forth the point that the Nephalem will become so powerful that they will be fought against by both Angels and Demons, I don't think that would happen. This is due to the fact that it's been mentioned that the Lords of Hell and Prime Evils are barely even able to cooperate with each other (see the Dark Exile) so I don't see them being able to cooperate with the Angels. Although they have been known (Mainly the Prime Evils) to work together so long as they share the same objective.
While I would very much like the idea of Tathamet making an appearance now that the soulstone has been destroyed (releasing all of the Lords and Prime Evils of Hell) I just don't see it to be possible. It's said that Tathamet itself is the sole representation of the Burning Hells itself. His seven heads, the 3 strongest being the Prime Eviles and the 4 Lesser heads being the Lords of Hell, being the essences of hell while his body being the foundations of the Burning Hells.
Now that I think about it, it could be very likely that Tathamet could make an appearance. Trag'Oul would also make a triumphant return with Rathma (hopefully, Rathma was so cool), who would in turn aid the Necromancers with upholding the Balance in the world of Sanctuary. We (the Nephalem) would fight along side the Necromancers to help destroy Tathamet. But of course upon his destruction would be the birth of the Seven Evils again. Because you can never truly kill Evil.
Also keep in mind, if Tathamet is destroyed, the Balance of Sanctuary would be returned to it's original/balanced state.
There's only so much we know about the Skovos Isles;
- It's the homeland of the Amazons
- Blizzard was planning to put it in the game but chose not to as they thought it wouldn't fit the theme very well.
- It's a balmy environment.
- Tyrael has sent some of the Horadrim there. He's also worried.
I could go on some more about Imperious but I'm pretty tired, and I have to study for an exam in 3 days.
Sep 6, 2014To my knowledge (I use Depth Diggers too, and I also use frenzy as my main ability) it will grant the additional damage regardless of whether you're at full fury or not. Just like your first example.Posted in: Barbarian: Bastion's Keep

Are they really? Or are you just that ignorant that you actively refuse to listen to any kind of reasoning that people are providing?Quote from ConundrumNSA
This thread is full of people who are a perfect example of what I was talking about in my last post.
Did you make this thread to have a discussion about this topic or did you just create it to tell us about your view and disregard anything anyone else has to say because it's not what you want to hear?
What you're basically saying is "They're a bunch of hackers and exploiters and they should be banned". In your last post you put "You're just making convoluted excuses for people who are cheating. And yes, they are cheating and exploiting no matter how people try to dress it up as some sort of legitimate gameplay." Which is basically saying you don't care what anyone else has to say because you've already made up your mind.
You have to be open-minded about this kind of thing mate, if you come onto a public forum expecting people to share the same view and opinions as you then you're going to have a bad time. There's plenty of valid and reasonable posts in this thread that point out some very discussion-worthy points. Don't be rude and dismiss them.

Well finally! After all the events in Heroes of the Storm that grant rewards for WoW and OW, D3 finally gets something. Here are the details...
It’s a simple task: Play 15 Games with friend in VS AI, QM, Ranked, and Unranked Draft as Heroes from the Diablo Universe. Once the bargain
is struck and the task is complete, you’ll receive the following rewards:
- Heroes of the Storm Rewards: Leoric’s Phantom, 1x Epic Loot Chest
- Diablo III PC Rewards: Ghost Kerrigan Wings
- The event begins during the week of June 13, and lasts until June 26*
As someone who plays HOTS quite a bit, it's a pretty easy task for a pretty cool pair of wings.

Been playing D3 since day 1 - May 15th is my birthday so D3's release date was kind of cool. Still play the very first toon I made, a Barb - I keep rebirthing him in seasons. Very sentimental to him.

Yeah, I think it's weird. Judging people by their look... really? I usually don't transmog unless someone asks me to, and if they do, I mock them by creating the ugliest transmog possible. I remember that overneathe or zero (one of them, don't recall who) didn't want to play with me in the RoS beta because I refused to transmog my character. Their loss!
I like the Tyrael wings though, and I found a pet chest which is kinda cool, so I'm using that. But I wouldn't pay a dime for that, and I couldn't care less if I lost either of that... if I could trade that against a stack of Death's Breath it'd be gone instantly

I might agree with OP that D3 is not dead but i completely disagree with the notion that the console version should have never been developed. The console version is probably the most successful thing that came out of D3 as a whole. I would also recommend anyone to try it out given the chance. Forget that pc vs console bullshit, the game actually feels a lot better with a controller (couch, big screen tv, etc...). Sure it does have downsides like limited "real" competition because of the ability to edit game files but seriously the competition in D3 on pc is bullshit anyway.

I'm stuck between 2 theories;
1) An expansion build around us, the Nephalem (based on the reference Tyrael makes in the cinematic after killing Malthael). I'd be extremely dissapointed if Hell/Heaven teamed up in order to beat the Nephalem, with us beating them in the end. Though, I don't think a universe without the Burning Hells and High Heavens can exist, because Anu was/is the beginning of all beings and the Burning hells/High Heavens are essentially Anu.
2) I don't think we'll ever destroy one faction though. I mean, what is the Burning Hells without the High Heavens and vice versa? As I said in 1) I don't the universe can't exist without either, because they can't be without eachother.
Maybe we'll get to pay Inarius a visit, and find out a way to return Sanctuary to its former glory and send it to another realm with Trag'ouls (I think he mentiones that there are more like him, in different realms) help. Making Sanctuary invisible from both factions and independent once more.
Diablo 4 won't happen, this has been said before. Then again, they also said there wasnt going to be an expansion sooo....

Hi I've watched this site since Diablo 3 rumors years before release! I thought now would be a good time to share a couple of my thoughts on where the game could go from here.
For a TLDR I have underlined the important stuff.
If you take a look at the Book of Cain, it has a lot of heavy foreshadowing for Diablo 3. It told us things about Kulle, the Lesser Evils, and some more that we did not (or most did not) know before the game was released and a lot of these things had serious connections to the game's plot (of course because it was promotional). Also the book of Tyrael was released and provides more information, although it is mostly a more in-depth recap of Sanctuary's history.
To me, one of the more interesting things about the Book of Cain was that it recanonized the previously non-canon, and my favorite Diablo book: The Legacy of Blood. Cain reveals in his writings some important meta info about the universe. The events in Legacy of Blood actually did happen. As we play the Rifts there are two rifts: one named after Horazon the Summoner, and another named after his brother Bartuc the Warlord of Blood.
The plot is heavily built around the Necromancer's attempts to protect the cursed armor of Bartuc. Bartuc was apparently so powerful he was able to essentially copy himself into his armor giving it a mind of its own and a large portion of his pwer. The priests of Rathma were tasked with keeping it locked away. Lately in Diablo 3 we have been seeing more and more necromancers. Is this just fanservice or a hint at a more necromancer-focused plot to come? Is it possible that Bartuc possessed Nephalem-Like powers similar to Kulle, but far greater? Bartuc and Horazon were the two most powerful humans of their time.
Seeking the power of the armor, Belial sends Xazax to trick a sorceress into helping him search for it. TLDR: Xazax is slain by The Wanderer but like the other demons of the universe he could likely reform and I was actually surprised we did not see him among Belial's forces. Xazax is also referred to in Tyrael's own journal by name. Compared to other names in the book- such as Zayl, or even Warriv- Xazax is arguably a very minor character in the Diablo Universe. Also mentioned in the book is Norrec, the protagonist so maybe they figured they would just throw in Xazax as the antagonist of that book.
I think that despite the ending of the book, it is entirely possible that Bartuc could be brought out of obscurity similar to how Malthael was. Its a stretch, but I also never would have expected Tyrael to do the same damn thing that failed in the first 2 games by playing hot potato with soulstones. But apparently the plot writers could take it anywhere.
What if in an attempt to bolster himself against the Nephalem or the demons, Imperius became as wrathful as to seek out the armor? The armor would give him the power to force the demons to begin slaughtering eachother (even more than they already do) and would provide a lot of firepower against Sanctuary, which was ravaged horribly by the first Warlord of Blood.
At the very least, Bartuc could be described as Wrath incarnate. His violence was unmatched and his armor was routinely painted with the blood of his victims. He forced one of the very rare occasions where the Vizjeri clans actually worked together, similar to the formation of the Horadrim. Dissimilar is that it took an army of mages to take down Bartuc, the Horadrim were just an order of a few. I like to think that Bartuc has high chances of having something to do with Wrath in the prophecy.
As for a new class, Diablo 3 currently has just 1 dedicated Archer character, which is the Demon Hunter. It has 2 mages, and 3 melee characters. I hope we get to see another archer, but I really wanted the Necromancer to make a comeback. What if we combine the two? Imagine an archer necromancer, the Ranger of Rathma or something. With the current increase in necromancer lore elements it seems likely to have some sort of necromancer offshoot like how the Crusader is the offshoot of the paladin. They could have their own kind of two-handed bows since DH has special one-handed bows. Maybe they could have their own form of offhand that they can use with bows, like a Voodoo or Quiver?
Tragoul's Teeth fired from bows. Bone spears fire from bows.
Skeleton pets raised from corpses.
This is stuff that I've mulled over about Diablo's lore for a year or two now.
Edit: Warlord of Wrath would be a cool title, but the acronym would stink.

For sure they'll announce the new Xpac at Blizzcon this year.
I mean what else could they announce
SC: LoTV is going into Beta soon, was announced a while back so there's nothing there.
WoW: WoD has only just come out, WAY too soon to announce another Expac.
OW: Hasn't even come out yet, so I doubt they'll be announcing anything for it
Hearthstone: New expansion already announced and under construction
HoTS: MOBA, doesn't have expacs
What does that leave?
Diablo! RoS is just over a year old now, announce the new Expac at Blizzcon and have it out just before RoS hits 2yrs old. It'll add one LONG act, one new multi stat class (Druid/shifter) and Devil's Hand that was originally planned to be in RoS.
Yes and no.
WoW's next expansion probably will be announced, just no info.
OW: Release date
LoTV: Release Date
Hearthstones: Maybe Next Expansion, since they seem to want to pump out as many as possible.
Warcraft Movie Details
Hopefully another movie franchise (doubt it though)
but yes, D3's expansion will probably be announced, I'm hoping it has to do with Inarius.
I would love to see Imperius take on a crusade to kill all the Nephelem, In order to stop him we need to find Inarius, whom Mephesto has held captive, so that lets us fight him again.
NEw class with probably be Amazon, and maybe Assassin or Necro, but most likely necro since they already shows a special place in the original trailer that wasn't in game.
Early concept art already showed Skovos Island, as well as Corrupted Druids, neither or which have been in the game yet, with the prime/lesser evils back in the abyss, leaves it open to fight them again.
Also with this quote: "There's a lot of people on our team who aren't happy with our class choices,” he admitted. "But after we've established 'Diablo III' as its own game with its own type of gameplay and experiences, I wouldn't be opposed to looking at old classes. We are trying to design [the Witch Doctor] class so that if we did bring back the Necromancer, there's room for him. We're looking out ahead of time at what our expansions are going to be, so we've got to keep room open for some of those other classes down the road."
Safe to say there will be more expansions.

Personal preference. I usually play in a group of 4, we tend to kill the Guardian in T6 then leave. Just because the speed and bloodshards.
But we also farmed a few hundred keys. And I like many others dont actually like doing bounties. So, for example, on season 1 when we ran low - we did full clears of rifts, because its "more" rifts. Its not like the density or loot gets any worse after you kill a Guardian. And all in all, in 1 "full clear", you could potentially get as three-four times as much mobs as a "normal clear" (To guardian).
This is why people do it, and the "no point" part - more legendaries, more rifting, less bountines, get "more" out of your keys.
And this is probably the 50th thread, atleast, about this. Try using the search function next time.
