Yea in battle net 2.0 I am 99% positive there will be a clan support page thing like that, like in HoN. I think having the clan tag would be cool, maybe an option for it to be on/off for the people who don't like it
Yeah, in hon there is no option for that because people could pubstomp(5v5 with a team of your own as a clan) with your clan and just turn it off.
But I don't see that being relavant to diablo, so I'm all for the toggle option.
First, make report simple, fast and easy. Like a buttom in the menu with "report".
Third, the game will very problably don't have a trial, sicen it's not a mmo.
I think D3 can be spam free, it's not that complicated.
Even if it was kind of an "under the table" sort of thing I wouldn't mind. I don't really need too much of an organized clan system. You can have a clan by just saying you have a clan, like in D2. Don't really think PvP will be so massive to the point of having huge clans, mabey just for chatting and fun and stuff, but thats just me.
I agree, but something as simple as a "clan only" chat like in WoW, HoN and other games would create such a huge difference.
P.S. Clans are useful for all parts of the game, not just PvP.

I play heroes of newerth and their clan system has it where your clan tag will automatically be in front of your name.

It is hard to say if the expansion to SC2 will be out before or after. I am not a fan of Starcraft, but what I have heard is that since the Single Player campaigns are too large to include them all at once so they decided to split them into 3 parts. That is telling me that a portion of the expansions have been worked on, but are just now focusing on the main release. I do not think it will take too much time for the expansions to be released. I am thinking it could be as little as 6 months for the first expansion.
They have stated they want all the expansions to be 1 year apart.

And would Blizzard be so cruel as to keep DIII a secret the entire first day of the convention? I don't think so. I mean Blizz is mean, but not that mean.

If the game is done before June 29th (which it most likely won't), they will keep testing and adding little bits up until that date. FYI: DII and LOD were both released June 29th.
But diablo 1 wasn't and diablo 3 was announced on the 28th.
I would assume that DIII will come out slightly before SCII exp1. My reasoning is that SCII will release somewhere in the fall this year, probably October to cash in the best before Christmas. Because the game will be completely finished at that point, EXP1 work will commence. Now all the modeling work is done, and the only thing I would expect to see in SCII exp1 is the new race's campaign, a few new units, and a few new maps. Surely that wouldn't require more than a year of work by the SCII team. So most likely they will be done with the next game around the same time 2011, for the next Christmas season.
I expect DIII to be released on June 29th 2011, which would put it a couple of months before SCII exp1. My reasoning for this is that DIII looks to be getting pretty polished at this point, compared to what we saw a year ago (remember the gargoyle?). 10 more months of production and 6 months for a beta seems reasonable to me. Plus the Diablo team wouldn't want to be breaking the June 29th tradition now would they?

Look I know you're really excited, but (Now read closely) DIABLO III WILL NOT BE RELEASED IN 2010. PERIOD. Blizzard has stated it and Activision put DIII as a "beyond 2010" release on their shareholders projections. It also makes no sense for companies to allow reserves. This (along with SCII) are expected to be two of the most massive releases ever. There WILL be copies at every single retail store that caries any form of electronics.
Trust me when I say this. DIII will not come out earlier than June 29th 2011. Just relax a bit and enjoy the ride.
