Good point(however you may look at it) from this guy

,,hmmm "Got to see some of the runed skill effects for the first time, and it's going to be an awesome system".... I didnt think they were going to do anymore with that till you got closer to the end....or was this video wrong or are you all just that far ahead now and we dont know it?...
Ladder/Non-ladder: Either.. I'm looking to start a new character, anyone wanna play through with me?(old fashioned way)
Mode: SC or HC, I don't mind either.. I like both PvP and PvM.
Realm: Either, preferebly west.
Playing times: 24/8
and a little about myself.. There isn't much, I'm what you call a "pro" gamer, I get sponsored and paid to play in some games, but I'm not an elitist.
I'm not the most exciting person, but I'm a good leader and know when to put my foot down.. I honestly don't have that much of a sense of humor, but I'm friendly when you get to know me. At first I seem like a dick if you take me too seriously though.
P.S. To save you the trouble, all my accounts(including my bnet one) is Rawrior.
Edit: I should clarify that just because I said I'm a good leader, that doesn't mean I'm looking for a leadership position. I was just putting that out there.
I hope they have some sort of battlegrounds or arena for D3 though.
Edit #2: Also, my account is fairly new, but I'm more of a lurker. I've been reading things from this site for years. I simply just don't post that much.
Since I cancelled my clan, I decided I want to try this clan again if you're willing to take me!
This doesn't tell us much, but it made me happy anyways. This is a post today from Bashiok:

We still have the stained glass at the top of every UI window. Or at least most. The ones that shuffle in from the sides at least. Inventory, character sheet, skills, etc.
That screenshot is crazy though. The picture on the right looks so foreign to me. I feel like the image on the left is more recent than the one on the right...
Anyway, totally off topic, I was in a horrible mood all day but just got out of one of the fairly regular milestone-esque "here's what the team has accomplished the past few weeks". And it blew me away. Sometimes there's a new monster or something that's awesome, but this time it was just the realization of how things are getting checked off at a constant pace. They are churning away like mad men (and women). Got to see some of the runed skill effects for the first time, and it's going to be an awesome system.
I want CTF and stuff to be pvp, I'm a big pvp fan and I'm a fan of the BG's in WoW(minus it's flaws like honor to buy gear).
Diablo would be a fun game to have pvp elements in those areas and since they want to make pvp bigger then the past 2 games, I don't see why not.. other then the fact you guys feel less immersed in the games 'feeling'.
Yes, we are aware they are old pictures, but they said the 5th class was the first class to be decided before they started working on the game. So let the speculating begin!
This has been mentioned quite a few times in the past, not the in the least by yours truly, and I think this game definately needs some more things to do at end-game (compared to D2 which was either PvP or MF for all eternity). So you've got my vote. I hope Bashiok replies to your b.net thread, but that's probably wishful thinking..
Even if he doesn't reply, he reads all the threads. If he likes this idea(if he hasn't heard it before), he will ask the dev team if they like it.
Let's just cross our fingers they like it as much as us.
While I like the idea of minigames, it makes me fearful for the atmosphere of Diablo III. WoW was free to have such things because it was more of a light, PG atmosphere.
Both other Diablo games were memorable to me, mostly because of the dark, demonic atmosphere. Adding in minigames and light hearted stuff would seriously detract from it.
When you think of the term "mini-game" you think of "light hearted" things sure, but in reality, you're still killing scores of monsters for X reason.
I also pointed out to someone from the other thread that, the survival thing could even be part of the game, think baal's minions.. You kill 5 waves, then kill baal.. Survival would be on a larger scale obviously, but it would be the same concept.
They just don't give me the feeling that you are saying, they could implement the survival while you're standing on a pentagram and send all kinds of demonic creatures at you.
At any rate, killing monsters would give more of that feeling then PvP, which will be in it too. I suck at explaining myself. lol
I posted this a little bit in another thread and on the bnet forums, but I'm going to post it here as it's own thread just to throw this out there for some ideas.(Here is the bnet link if you care http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=23425381682&sid=3000)
Just want to throw out an idea..
Why not throw in different modes for mini-games like fighting games, survival comes to mind.
You enter an arena and you just fight off waves of monsters that gradually get stronger and you kill as many as you can before dying, when you die. You get put on a leaderboard of sorts or a ranking.
Maybe get a title or a special cape(lol) or something, I don't think gear should be given out for this, because people would just farm it and it would become the BG's of D3. Simply for fun and making a ranking.
This would add some extra fun gameplay elements, competitiveness via rankings and you can stick more achievements on them for fun.
Other modes could be like:
Kill as many monsters as you can before dying, everyone, including yourself, die in 1 hit.
Capture the flag or any other kind of BG influenced by WoW(these would be fun in D3, don't lie)
I suck at coming up with ideas, but you get my point. Throw in the ability to go in these games co-op or w/e to add more rankings(1 player, 2 players etc)
And I repeat, these shouldn't hand out gear, unless it's simply for viewing. Only for fun and competition.
Also when a hardcore player dies in these 'mini-games', they won't lose their actual char, because that would be unfair and they would die inevitably in them anyways.

I doubt rarely anyone would play ladder if there was no ladder only items.

Opinions? Am I too late? Stupid?
