I can see a lot of people trying out other followers. What sucks is the nerf to chests/corpses/destructible objects. That really makes the game less enjoyable. -

The change to overpower makes me want to explore the skill a little more.
I know a lot of people will complain about the nerf to Inferno, but personally I'm gonna enjoy being able to farm act 2 and still have a chance at sick act 3-4 items.
The worst change of the patch is the nerf to destructible objects and chests, corpses etc... Doesn't this take too much out of the meat of Diablo? You're supposed to be able to find awesome stuff anywhere. There is no point in stopping to explore a bookcase or break some furniture anymore. That removes a hefty bit of immersion from the game. It's essentially cutting a feature out by changing it to have near zero use. I'm sure there are other ways to nerf all the chest/vase/pony cloud farming going on. -

Remember how long it took to balance SC2 before they released the final game? that was pretty long. I agree with The Informant too. The application of a shared skill change between bosses and enemy players just makes everything easier to understand, plus has the added benefit of you not having to try a set of skills the first time by messing up a random queue. you can sort of test a pvp viable concept on bosses in pve as an alternative. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

If they made this, it'd help pve not become stale. It's competitive pve in a sense with leaderboards and rankings. What team comp survived up to wave 86? Stuff like that.
I think it'd be cool too if there was a pool of lives that each player draws from. If you die you subtract one from the pool and resurrect. This keeps going on until they run out of lives in the pool.
Another cool thing would be that items can drop from all the monsters. However you never see them in the course of the fight. They're invisible as they drop. The screen is then super clear while the fight is going on, with little chance of a misclick. Then when everyones dead, all the monsters are removed from the screen. The drops suddenly become visible. The party feels heavily rewarded for being able to survive for so long.
They could also tweak the repair rate of items for this feature, so there's a soft cap where players can breakeven from the deaths. They could also just flat out reduce the cost.
The waves of monsters could be randomized. And maybe further down the line, let special random events spawn on certain waves.
This is just an idea I want to throw out to the community. Do you think this could work? Do you have ideas to improve this?

Yeah except if you're a whirlwind barb your primary damage source is the tornadoes you leave behind, which take their damage from the main hand. So a high stat wep for an offhand is fine until you can get better.

You can also do 1h shield and get some nice crit chance on the shield (get one with high block 20%+)..
If you're building for damage you need about 30k damage minimum and maybe 40-40k hp to farm act 3 comfortably (dw).
If you're building for the stand in the fire and kill everything, you'll want 50 to 60 hp and much higher all res (800+ unbuffed).
Barbs are really fun. I wish you the best of luck building the gear for it.
