I didn't like druids very much in D2, but I loved them in WoW and I usually love other shape-shifting classes in games that I play. So I really hope there is a druid, or some other class that utilizes some form of shape-shifting in D3.
This would be very very nice, although I don't foresee it happening. What I would like to see, and I think this actually might happen, is some sort of mailing system. Something to allow you to send items to your mule/bank characters directly, without fear of losing them.
Well it sure means there is going to be some sort of ranged class! I'm sure they wouldn't put bows in the game just as a flavor thing that nobody would every seriously use. Whether or not it will be an amazon, or a rogue with a bow spec, who knows.
c++ being the language you could do worse than checking out Microsoft's Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition. It's free and appears now to be bundled with a game creator, Dark GDK.
Thanks again for all the replies so far. I think I'm gonna go ahead and try C++ since I've had a bit of experience with programming already. Anyone know of a good site or guide to start with?
have you programmed before, because i think c++ a hard language to learn for a first language.
I've done a very little bit of Java, took an intro course on it so not all too much. Do you maybe know of some sort of guide or good place to start to learn programming?
This might be a longshot, but I was wondering what programming language Blizzard generally uses to make their games. I do some programming myself and was interested in knowing what code was used to build some of the games that I love.
Thanks in advance for anyone know might know the answer.
I can't be sure but the 7900 should be able to run D3 pretty well also. I dunno about max settings, but it will be able to run it for sure.
I've never played UT or CoD4 all too much, but if you google how the video card you have, and the video card you want to buy perform in all those games. See what the performance increase is gonna be like, and if you think its worth it.
I personally run 2 8800GTs and those two run everything I've came across just fine. But google is your friend, there are tons upon tons of reviews and benchmarks tests for just abot every video card.
Prolly would even be overkill for D3. Blizz said that they wanna keep the requirements low, that said the 8800GTX not only could run it, but most likely run it on almost max settings.
Also take a look at some ATI cards, they are getting much better recently, especially 4850 v GT280 (I believe those are the new names). And with the advent of DX10.1 which will run on ATI cards also, there is really no reason to stay out of the ATI market anymore in my opinion.

That might be a good place to start, if google can't help you, then post on these forums and they certainly will be able to help you out.
