It would be nice to see some sort of wave mechanic fight. I would be hesitant to ask for an elevator style fight because its just kinda cheesy. Reminds me of original nintendo games and what not.
I love ubuntu, but had to chooce Vista for my gaming computer since it's too much hassle getting games working with ubuntu. Boo.
I'm in the EXACT same boat as you. I can't imagine how many people would switch over to Ubuntu full time if Blizzard only made their games run natively in Linux.
As for why windows sux
1) Gotta pay a rediculous amount of money for it
2) DRM
3) Its windows
4) Repeast step 3 an infinite amount of times.
Yeah I think there should be no, or very limited binding in all RPGs. Makes trading and the economy a much larger part of the game. I for one would love to see an MMO with no or limited binding system. Would be VERY interesting.
Maybe something like after killing so many of them, you can then learn to build using their body parts.
Like after killing 1k skeles, you can build a little skele shrine. Just a little something cool looking. Or maybe a mini-pet that will follow you around.
I for one really love linux in general, my only gripe with it is in terms of gaming. I own my computer almost solely for the purpose of gaming, and getting games to run on Linux through WINE or Virtual Box can be quite a pain, and quite frankly not worth the effort.
I was wondering if other people would make a switch over to some linux distro is Blizzard started to make their games with a native linux client. I for one would, and I'd love to hear other people's opinions on the subject.
Not quite. That one was Guardian. Apocalypse was the one that nuked EVERYTHING on your screen:D
Yeah it was way OP. Just run around, spam that, and nothing ever touched you. And when you run out of charges on Archangel's Staff of Apocalypse, just set up a TP and recharge it.
i say no to that... im not sure why but i just think that it would have a bad affect on the game
It would have to remain something small, like an added bonus for it to be fun in my opinion. If it became the main focus, or even a main focus then it could be detrimental for D3. It should be something you just kinda get while you do what you want to, and maybe after a while you get a title as a result. But certainly not something that forces everyone to grind for days on end to be able to compete.
I really loved frozen orb, would be cool to see that again. However I've read that this game won't revolve around spamming just one skill, so even if it does exist it will be far less powerful. Hell I might go make a sorc just so I can mow down enemies with frozen orb =P
Indeed, playing the other games would be your best option. If you've never played any Diablo before then starting off with Diablo 3 could be a bit confuzzling. If you really wanna get some story, start with D1. But you can get away with just playing D2 and still be ready to play D3 when it comes out.
