How long do you think from the announcment itself till it will hit the shelves?
dont you think they might announce a begining of development of the game and then will have to wait like a year??
Nice theory.. My guess would be that they had the teaser plan and the images done loooong before they posted them as splash screens though..
it seems to be quite the elaborate plot that's formed this teaser.. doubt they're making the images as they go along ^^

its really a very easy work..

if the runes are not game (diablo) specific so what actually are we holding in our hands right now that actually predicts the announcment of diii?>?!??:necro:
Why blizzard put a 3rd rune that is not diablo related if they wanted to keep the hype up??
i really think blizzard is well aware for the hype they created , but since the d3fans interpreted the 2 runes as diablo related - blizzard had to put a 3rd that isnt diablo related if they do not actually developing it - (so people will not get extremeley frustrated with it).. so i really keep my expectations down now.. (and belive me , not to many things i prefer instead of d3 to be released..)..
