Thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah, I spent a long time on that one, mainly because there are no sprite collections out there for Blizzard games, so I literally had to go in and take a ton of screenshots and then extract the individual units from each pic one by one. Then there was the whole process of putting all the sounds together heheh, it was pretty grueling to say the least but I really wanted to do something with the characters. It's just a lil' joke I made up when I was eating tacos for dinner one day while making a post here on Diablo3.com. As a result, however, I've thought about doing a joke flash game/movie parody about it at some point. Time will tell I suppose. I would be more than happy to partner with Blizzard should they wish to contact me about the domain (it's not like we're not gonna be promoting the hell out of whatever Diablo 3 stuff they eventually release), but I have no desire to sell it. I'm not in this for a quick buck. I'm in this to have a great fan site that we can all enjoy and discuss the game(s) we love on.
And knowing is half the battle...

Gamasutra reports that Frank Pearce of Blizzard Entertainment has just confirmed that the company is working hard on another new title... and it's not World of Warcraft or Starcraft II. 40 people are working on Starcraft II and 40 people are working on this secret Team 3 project, so it's definitely another big one. According to Pearce, "Team 3 is working on something really awesome. I can’t give you any hints, but it’s totally awesome."
With Blizzcon '07 coming up this August 3-4, people have high hopes that this mystery game will be unveiled.

Believe it or not, Legendary Pictures has just announced that they are making a movie based on the Diablo series by Blizzard. No word on who will be directing the movie (or writing it or starring in it for that matteR), but if Uwe Boll has any involvement, I say we Diablo fans riot in the streets.
If you ask me, the announcement of this movie brings up three big questions:
1) Will this have any effect on when Blizzard will announce the next Diablo game?
2) Will this be a good movie or will it fall under the "video game movie" curse?
3) How will they handle the Secret Cow Level? Let's face it, if the axe-wielding cows aren't somewhere in the movie, it won't be worth watching.
I have seen a trademark for it once. "Diablo: Salvation" I think it was titled.
I'll update if none find it again.

The main point of curiosity behind this years event is finding out what the "upcoming Blizzard game" beta key thing is all about. Will it be a beta key for Starcraft II or will the hopes of Diablo III fans finally be confirmed? Or, could it finally be the grand unveiling of something even more amazing. Something like...
Well, we can dream...

STARCRAFT 2!!!
Sorry everybody, it's not Diablo 3, but one thing we Blizzard fans are used to is WAITING. Diablo 3 will happen, in the meantime, let's all enjoy the Starcraft 2 news because Starcraft was one hell of a good game.
Big thanks to all of our faithful forum members who've been following the story over the past week!
