Thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah, I spent a long time on that one, mainly because there are no sprite collections out there for Blizzard games, so I literally had to go in and take a ton of screenshots and then extract the individual units from each pic one by one. Then there was the whole process of putting all the sounds together heheh, it was pretty grueling to say the least but I really wanted to do something with the characters. As a result, however, I've thought about doing a joke flash game/movie parody about it at some point. Time will tell I suppose. I would be more than happy to partner with Blizzard should they wish to contact me about the domain (it's not like we're not gonna be promoting the hell out of whatever Diablo 3 stuff they eventually release), but I have no desire to sell it. I'm not in this for a quick buck. I'm in this to have a great fan site that we can all enjoy and discuss the game(s) we love on.
And knowing is half the battle...

Sadly, we'll all still have to wait on that one. Nevertheless, the news is definitely pretty big, although I told Umaro that saying "half the web will link to diablo3.com" is a bit of an exaggeration... but he's just excited about it as we all are. I'll have to teach him some journalistic restraint one o' these days...
Anyway, I'll be here with the big announcement on May 1st, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

I dunno, doesn't seem like something that would fool anybody. I guess I didn't think much of their joke because Blizzard's were so good this year, especially the Molten Core trailer.

There are some other gags up on Blizzard too for fans of their other gaming series (which I honestly think they put a lot more effort into), so be sure to check those out too. I particularly got a kick out of the fantastic graphics in the trailer for their "Molten Core" console game gag. HAS SOUND!
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the chuckles that are surely to be found all over the internet today on April Fool's Day. And speaking of which, I made a little gag of my own that you guys can check out. I'm sure it will bring back some (painful) memories for fans of the Atari 2600 system.

In other Blizzard-related news, the rep just sent me word that our own Umaro participated in the first-ever Starcraft II tournament with Loc Teinh (from w3roc.com) on his team and won in the first round, but they were unfortunately defeated in round 2 by TeamLiquid. The overall winner of the tournament was TeamLiquid who were then given the opportunity to play Karune and Stephen Chang from the eSports team. TeamLiquid wasn't able to defeat them though. Unfortunately there's no replay video footage from this tournament, but maybe that will change later on.
More news as it becomes available.
